Dearborn Rest Area Northbound

This is one of the nicer rest areas going into Kansas City there is talk of tearing it down and that would be shame!

Nearly fell trying to navigate obstacle course of ice. Treacherous! Someone did terrible job clearing snow or chose not to bother at all.

While moving from Kansas City Missouri to St Joesph Missouri after many trips back and forth, we stopped to try to get a little bit of sleep. While trying to sleep some creep tried to steal the luggage off the van roof rack! Luckily we had our 2 shar-pei's in the front seats and the scared the would-be thief and his accomplice away!

I needed to fill a container up for water for my water pump and there's no outdoor spigot to fill up any jug

Everything was so nice and clean it's the best rest stop we have ever been to we were visiting our daughter and family in Nebraska we always stop there on the way there and on the way back whoever is keeping everything clean we are very thankful

When traveling we rarely stop at rest areas but we had a bathroom emergency and this was the closest place to pull over at. The bathrooms were clean and well-tended to (they were actually cleaned by staff right after we used them). There is a small area with vending machines and several coveted picnic tables. There is an unfenced area for pets. Cars and trucks park on opposite sides of the building.

This is one of the best rest places I have stopped at and was able to sleep and not be bothered whatsoever, let alone need to worry about anything that was going on around me. The place was cleaned every morning bright and early. Staff was polite and nice, there are vending machines available for snacks if you wake up parched or aching w a sweet tooth. You are on two different sides than the truckers. The bathrooms stayed cleaned all night long. And you are free to go whenever you please. Nobody's keeping track of when you come and go so you can leave whenever you need. No cops or troopers even coming by. I stayed for a couple nights when I was in between places. I would do it again too.

Why the hell do you need a review on a rest area? It's what you think it is. Get a job.

Solid.pun intended. Good parking ramp off the highway. Not much vending or anything but clean restrooms and not crowded.

Okay, understand this- I do not rate rest areas. Only this one was the cleanest rest area I ever did see. Traveling patrons can be truly nasty and messy at a rest stop and that is not fair to the staff there. But when exceptional! Yes, just gotta open my mouth and sing it some praise.

Nice place to sleep in your car. Mens bathroom is clean. Good place to walk your poodle too.

I didn't go in the bathroom or anything I just parked my car and stayed there for a few minutes and nobody killed me so four stars.

Nice rest area. Well maintained. Need to turn on the hot water heater. Cold water sucks in winter.
