Delmar Gardens of O'Fallon

This Delmar Gardens in O'Fallon Missouri is absolutely filthy. We had our Uncle there in the month of February. If you care about a family member do not send them to this facility. He had a wound that got infected. We saw roaches in bathroom. Food is disgusting. Level of care and therapy was inexsistant. The state needs to shut this facility down.

This place is the absolute worst and I would not put my worst enemy in this facility. Nobody and I mean NOBODY cares for these people. They put the call lights out of reach. They will not take the residents to the dining hall if they are being “slow”. They will call for help and scream in the hallway and are horribly ignored. What’s worse? There are bugs, the food is not edible (but the staff shrugs and says who cares. Nobody washes their hands. They steal from the residents. The Alzheimer’s and dementia wing of the facility should be considered a prison. There is feces on the wall and all over their rooms and the CNA, nurses and housekeepers say “why clean it when they will make the mess again” this place needs to be shut down. What’s happening in this facility is elderly abuse and neglect. Shame on your company.

I absolutely loved working there when I first started. I didn't even last the 90 days! I would be left at the reception desk and not receive my 30 minutes for lunch. I never received two 15 minutes break. I have now been in and out of the hospital for three weeks straight because they would refuse me a break. Highly would advise families to really look close.

Yes this place is very much overrated I wouldn't recommend this place to no one they don't come in and help people they notice it to people when they have them pay their money they lay in feces they left PCS that on the floor they don't bring their dinner sometimes even for a whole day you drop off stuff packing his farm they do not get to their room that was very very very disappointed in this place would not recommend them to not even up to handle my pet

The employees here truly care about their residents and work hard to make sure they are taken care of.

They get upset if you can’t eat your food right away and they have to reheat it for you. If you have an accident and you get diarrhea and it gets on the seat and on the floors the nurses aide says it’s not their job to clean it up and they don’t get paid enough to do that. They are confrontational with the clients that live there and many times just down right rude. The nurses aids spend more time on their telephones with personal telephone calls then they do taking care of the patients. I might also add that they have a tendency of using very foul language while they are on the telephone talking to their boyfriends or whatever they are.
