Diner Denny's reviews
17Great service, eggs over easy, perfect. I have to admit best coffee I've ever had. In a restaurant. I actually g u l p e d three cups down. I usually just sip one or two, then I'm done. It was so good. Fabulous Veterans Day visit for them contributing to our veterans. God bless them and God bless America.
Three different items I asked for and all three were out. Ended up just getting something small. Probably will not go back
Best place in Rolla to go on Sunday morning for breakfast with friends, everywhere else was completely packed. No wait, service was pretty fast. Huge dinning room compared to places like waffle house and IHOP. Waitress kept our coffees and waters topped off despite the place being pretty busy.
The sign on the establishment says they open at 6 am. Finally they unlocked their doors at 6: 15 am because I called them from the parking lot. I was the first inside and a man directly behind me. Waitress found out she had one coffee maker and yet only started to brew the first pot after she took our orders. A 10 minute delay.
The picture of the toast is curious, is it not? She claims it's just how he cut it. What? He is in the habit of cutting out the middle? Strange.
The omelet was good therefore I gave them two stars for that.
From the first greeting to the finished meal was exact perfection. I also appreciated my coffee cup being kept full. Thats always a bonus for me.
I'm from Texas.i live in ohio about 3 years. I wanted to eat some of my Mexican food here in PA.and I didn't find anything around me that resembles what I cook.when I look at this DENNY'S.it was like finding water in the desert.wow.super delicious everything.great service.good attention. What more could you want.
Food was great. The waitress was really cute. The GF and I thought about 3sum but we needed to head home
The food was really good. The service quick. Our waitress was awesome. Came by several times to check on us a offer coffee warm-ups. It's been many years since going to a Denny's and will definitely go back for breakfast.
It started off fine. Then two little old ladies walked in with a damn chihuahua that couldn’t even behave. Had it have been a service animal, I would have been fine with it but bringing in your pet just because you don’t want to leave it at home is ridiculous.
Love the Rolla Denny's. I live in Lebanon and eat there at least twice a month. I also love that they appreciate our Veterans!
Coming here took me back to my childhood and it was such a blessing that I would most certainly be back
Service was fast and food was good. I had the chorizo eggs benedict. Did not care for the hollandaise sauce but the rest was good.
It's great that they sanitize the table, but I don't like to be sat at a soaking wet table. Then the server seemed to be upset that I wanted it dried off. Then I ordered coffee. The mug was filthy so I asked for a clean cup. Well, evidently that was a bad idea. She got even more upset that I wanted to drink out of a clean cup. The food came out great, but the customer service was horrible.
There where 4 tables seated and three of the were in one corner all crowded together with no space. The rest of the restaurant was empty. Our table was not wiped down from the previous patrons, there was food and pepper spread across it. So no covid protocols. The hostess/waitress asked for our drink order before we were even seated. Then before we could look at the menu asked if we were ready to order. Then she didn't come back for 15 minutes to get our order. It took 30 minutes to bring our burger and pot roast. The pot roast had cold spots and the carrots where hard and uncooked. After I was about 1/4 into eating they asked what kind of bread I wanted with it. About 1/2 finished they asked if anyone ever brought the bread. At 3/4 finished the brought it. It was the saddest cold toast I have ever seen. One of the 4 halves of bread had garlic butter stopped on. One of the halves had butter on the outside of the crust only. The other two halves were dry. When we went to pay we stood at the register for 10 minutes. Someone eventually came up and punched in the total, then left before I could tap my card. So I couldn't get a receipt. Once I gave up on the receipt and walked out the door, the server chased us down to ask if we had paid.wow! The flavor was good. Unfortunately the people next to us had more issues with their orders, so we felt we got the good service for the night.
Might be a Denny's thing in general, but the plates are a bunch of filler, like bread and massive "hashbrowns" in addition to the only part I want, which is the omelet. Costs too much because I have to pay for stuff I don't want on the plate. I could be missing something though, but I didn't see smaller options. Also here I got burnt toast and upcharged on stuff I thought was just part of the plate, which was gravy. The atmosphere was a 6/10ish, didn't feel the most clean and smelled.rough. The service wasn't much to complain about, but it was a quick stop so not much needed.
This Denny's is a little diamond in the rough. The food was solid, the manager visited my table, and the server, Abigail, was amazing! She was just so delightful. I hope they appreciate her. Awesome experience at one of my favorite chain restaurants. The staff here made me feel like a regular, even though I was driving through from 1500 miles away:)
