College daughter had an appointment today concerning wisdom teeth pain. All the staff was so kind and very nice. Dr Smith took time to do a full exam and asked hygienist to come do her cleaning today. Scheduled her wisdom teeth surgery at the next opening and follow up after that. From the Office mgr Steven, Dental assistant Sara, Hygienist Amanda to Dr Logan Smith, every one of them were knowledgable and most important kind to my daughter and myself. An overall excellent experience here. Thank you to the whole team!

I will never go back here! I had a simple appointment for a routine cleaning and exam. That has never taken over 1 hour at other places. Here, it took over 3 hours. They never got around to cleaning my teeth and wanted me to book an appointment to come back. There was one moment where they just left me in the chair alone for 45 minutes. I had to start asking if anyone was still in the office. They had one dentist working and had the place full of clients. They max billed my insurance company and tried to trick me into coming back for an advanced cleaning that is not covered under my insurance plan. They straight up lied to me saying I had deep gum pockets but my last dentist, visit less than 3 months ago, said my gums were very healthy. Also, I could see the pocket depth numbers on the computer chart, and they had a poster on the wall next to me that clearly said those numbers were considered healthy. They tried to hard sell me. They reminded me of a shady car repair place that makes up some repair you don't need. I do not recommend them at all. Stay away.

Great people here! Very efficient scheduling, very friendly! Dr. Shrivastava actually noticed something in my x-rays that wasn't necessarily dental related. He pointed it out to me and it was a huge help to me medically! He's a dentist, he didn't have to do that. Amanda the hygienist is very friendly and makes the process easy and does her best to make sure you're comfortable.

Today my kids had their first appointment here with Dr Shrivastava. Their initial appointment last week was cancelled due to a hygienist calling off. They offered to reschedule to that Saturday. They are not normally open on Saturday but were opening to get those missed appointments in. Definitely appreciated since I was concerned it would take a long time to reschedule them both.

We had such a great experience today. From the front desk check in throughout the appointment. The hygienist Kathy was very nice, patient, took her time to explain everything. Then the Dentist also took a lot of time to explain to us not to use whitening toothpaste but okay to use bleaching strips. A nice appointment that wasn’t rushed and we all learned something important about oral hygiene.

I’ll keep this as short as possible. Hadn’t been to a dentist in 12+ years. I was starting to have teeth pain and other issues. Checked this place out, and Dr Shrivastava found all kinds of problems and he gave me a roadmap to a healthier mouth. A year later, 4 wisdom teeth pulled (biggest reason for my mouth/teeth pain), 11 cavities filled and in the process of fixing my periodontal disease. I’ve never been judged, only encouraged from Dr Shrivastava and his staff with the progress I’ve made from a year ago. If you want an honest and supportive dentist and staff, this is the place to go!

I made an appointment with this office to give me an opinion of dental work! Dr Shrivastaua was so informative about every dental question asked! I have to say he answered and explained every detail with patience! Definitely five stars!

I seriously love this place! Everyone here is always so welcoming, kind and helpful! I wasn’t sure what to expect for my first cleaning, but Amanda made it feel like a breeze. She kept me up to speed with each step, and overall just made the experience super comfortable & fun with her positive attitude.

Had the most wonderful experience with everyone I encountered from reception, my dentist Dr Shrivastava who I might add did a phenomenal job explaining everything before he began, and Chandra his assistant. Best dental experience to date!

Truly do not understand why this office has such good reviews. This dentist is part of a chain and when going for my first appointment did not realize that I had previously been to one of their other offices in Creve Coeur. I had the same experience in Creve Coeur as I did here - the doctors were pushy in trying to get you to agree to have work done that you may or may not need. In my first appt at Dentists of St. Peters, I was told my crown needed replaced immediately and that I had multiple cavities. In Creve Coeur, I had the same experience where I was told my wisdom teeth needed to be removed immediately. However, with my previous dentist, they weren't as concerned and felt I could keep them for years longer. It seems to me that this chain wants to encourage you to get work done NOW at their offices so they can reap the benefits. After my one and only appt here, I went elsewhere for a second opinion who flat out told me they had no idea why this office told me I had multiple cavities and that my crown was not so deteriorated that it needed replaced immediately. Dentists of St. Peters also did not hold to their promise that they would send over my x-rays to my new dentist. The dental hygienists, though very nice, were extremely rough when cleaning my teeth and left me with sores that lasted a few days after my appt. As someone who is prone to cavities and need to be able to trust my dentist, I would not recommend this office whatsoever.

Amanda did a great job with my cleaning. Professional, friendly and I felt like I was in there no time at all. Definitely recommend this office.

Went in for an emergency, I chipped a tooth that turned out to be abscessed. The DMD had a trainee with him while taking XRays, he showed her one machine but disappeared for the next. She poked and proded my mouth for 5 minutes trying to take an XRay but didn't know how, he finally showed up and had her click a button in the software she forgot. After being brought back to my room, they told me what I had already told them before coming in and didn't really give me any options. I told him about how much pain and swelling I had, his solution was giving me Ibuprofen. It did very little in helping, I couldn't even sleep. Their oral surgeon is out, so they had to defer me to another location the next day to have the extraction performed. I cannot comment on their other dental services, but I would NOT recommend this place for an emergency.

This is the third dental office I’ve been to in one year the second one in just a month. I have so much anxiety when it comes to going to the dentist so finding one that I’m comfortable with is very challenging.
Scheduling an appointment was very easy as was their availability. Checking in for my appointment was quick and easy as well. I’ve only had two visits but both times the staff was all great. Sara took my X-rays and was the dental assistant. She understood my anxiety and the discomfort I get when having X-rays done. She was very understanding and made sure I was as comfortable as possible instead of just shoving the tools in my mouth. I have some bone build up on my lower gums, which usually causes a lot of pain, discomfort and sometimes bleeding just from having X-rays done. I had very minimal discomfort when she did it and it didn’t cause any tearing or bleeding on my gums. Dr. Shrivastava is really great too. He took time to go over my concerns, the issues I was having and the best treatment plans. He also touched on some other health issues like non dental health issues that could be a result from the dental issue. I scheduled a third appointment so he could go over all of that more with a full exam.
When I came back for my second visit which was to fill a cavity, he again went over what they were going to do and what to expect.
The process was different from what other offices have done in the past. Instead of applying a dab of numbing agent on a single qtip to numb the area, they took two gauze with more than a dab of numbing agent and placed it on the area. When it came time to use the needle to numb, I literally didn’t feel it at all. My heart was racing just from being afraid that I would feel it (I’m absolutely terrified of needles when it comes to me getting them). After that it was all so easy. I sat there with a bite block in my mouth while they did what they do. They made the crown in the office so I got my permanent crown that day instead of coming back for another visit. Coming from someone with a lot of anxiety especially dentist anxiety, I would definitely recommend coming here.
If you’re a MyChart lover like me, then that’s another benefit! They use it! It was very easy to set up my account and link it to my SSM, and BJC MyChart.

Had my first patient appt last month and since then I have had a crown and two fillings completed. Each was as great of an experience as you can ask for considering the work I needed. Dr. Shrivastava was great at explaining what was needed and made sure it was as painless as possible. If you are looking for a new dentist, you aren't going to find a better one out there.

(Growing up I feel like I had to get a good amount of fillings and can say I hated going to the dentist. The visits to Shrivastava have turned that around.)

This Dental Practice is what ALL other Dentists should Aspire to be! Everyone was kind, gentle & Professional. They're committed to providing each patient with clear information about their Dental Health & the procedures needed. And, they make their own Crowns in their office! What they're going to do will take 2 Hours. My former Dentist took 2 Months! And, they made me Smile, Too! ;)
