Dickens Gift Shoppe, Branson MO

Nice little store. Great sale! Bought a real nice purse 30% off. Had to go back the next day for more. No regrets

I went in and had a sample of their fudge. It was fair. However, they have a flavor that I don't see often (black walnut). I decided to see if my wife wanted to choose some, also.

She wasn't interested, so I went back to buy the black walnut. The elderly man there asked what I'd like to try and I told him I had tried the black walnut earlier.

I told him I was going to buy some of it and asked if I could also try the dark chocolate. He got a sour look on his face and got me a sample of it. Then he said "I guess you can't read, can you? " Among the jumble of notes taped to the counter, one said "one sample per customer", and he pointed to it.

I told him if he doesn't want me as a customer, I would leave. In a sarcastic voice, he said loudly, "SEE YUH! "

I went and got my wife and told her we wouldn't be spending any money there. An employee asked what was wrong and I told her. She said, "he shouldn't have said that, but he's tired - we had a lot of people through today. "

That's no excuse. If you won't respect people, find a new line of work.

We come to Branson yearly and we always walk thru the Dickens Gift Shoppe.

Acted as if they were going to hire my bf and then because they asked about his felony denied him because he was charged with his own injuries the people here are very fake and will deny you fair chance employment first chance they get he was told he wouldn't hear back until Friday but was immediately denied that day

Perfect little shoppe with the best fudge! We visit everytime we go to Branson!
