Dierbergs Markets - Fenton Crossing reviews
19Love this store. They had a great sale today. Great selection. Many food items not found in other grocery stores.
I found an item I had been looking for that no one else had. They also have a very nice selection in all categories. Thier biggest down fall is; they are awfully
pricey. Butt. They are in an area that can support their atmosphere. No more power to them.
My wife visited recently and they had a 'mandatory mask' sign up, so we did not plan to return.
However I did return the other night because I had to see if they were stocking some of our alcoholic drink choices.
I was not forced to wear the face diaper so that's a plus.
They do stock most of our drink choices, except a certain holiday Jack Daniels drink right now.
The store is clean and fairly organized. I will patronize then when first choice stores are out of stock.
All of the sushi are “Fresh” and my first impression about Sushi Chef Michael is that he’s nice and young also he always put customers in priority. He seem to be busy but as long as he’s there, he will make you anything that you want. Don’t be afraid to ask if you want to order something. I’ll recommend this Fenton Sushi Dierberg, always fresh made, and this is the best place for me so far.
Only needed to grab a few items but store is always clean and employees friendly and helpful! In and out in no time.
I sure do like dierberg's at the Fenton crossing. They always have delicious warm food for lunch and for dinner. They are are cost competitive and are always keeping their shelves stocked.
Mask mandate in effect and everyone wears their masks. Cashiers are friendly and bag boys are helpful
Produce never lasts. Raspberries were moldy. Went shopping here first time in awhile due to produce issues. Won't be back.
I just got home from dierbergs Fenton crossing. Before I gave it a one-star just now I wanted to read other reviews to make sure that it was not just me. I've been going there since 1999. That would be 22 years. I remember Tony the manager. He was excellent. Ever since then over the course of time the management has changed multiple times. Understandably nowadays with this pandemic everybody has had to raise their prices to adjust to the lack of customers. Bad bad mistake. I'm sure Greg dierbergs receive plenty of PPP money to where they did not need to raise prices as they have. Besides the prices the quality of some of the management there is horrendous. They could care less that a person has spent tens and tens of thousands of dollars over the years. I have learned over the last year that a family of four can without a doubt saved between 5: 000 to $8,000 a year in groceries by going to Walmart or other reasonably priced stores. Costco and Sam's is another great option. They have excellent quality. It's unfortunate to see what used to be a great store for many years going down the drain.
It is a well organized, nice staff, fresh groceries, nice and delicious deli, meat department, seafood and fresh cheese center.
They have really good sushi. The sushi guy will make anything you want while he is there. The prices of the sushi are very reasonable.
They have pretty much anything you need grocery wise, including specialty items. However, they are on the more pricey side.
This store does not know how to make the store handicap accessible whatsoever they should have things spaced out enough for their own electronic carts to get through instead its super inconvenient and I don't recommend handicap people coming here if you wanna get stuck everywhere also if someone leaves their cart by the bathroom you shouldn't take it away especially when it's hard on them to walk through the whole store to re gather items I won't be back they could try harder
Just got back from Fenton crossing store. They must have laid off or cut the the baggers hours because there were none in sight. If I wanted to bag my own groceries I would have gone to aldi’s.
They have a lot of clean food here. Though, if you go to the vegetable selection always rise them off. There were dead gnats inside the stems of the lettuce. I don't know what happened the food there was insect free before. I always rise off my veggies regardless but seeing the sight of them on pre-washed food just doesn't sit right with me.
Dierbergs quality in one of their smaller store. A bit of a smaller selection, but it's all good. And the deli is excellent.
This was my 'go to' store. I didn't mind paying a little more for the friendly people and excellent service. It used to be, "How can I help you" everywhere I went. Unfortunately, things have changed over the last few months. At first I thought it was just me, but now I've heard from multiple people that the employees have become rude recently. At first I assumed it was due to covid and the additional stress around that, but it's been a year. I'm not trying to make light of a global pandemic, but that can no longer be an excuse. So it looks like I'll be shopping at Schnucks, or traveling farther away to a different Dierbergs.
Dierbergs is our favorite local grocery store. They carry a wide variety of trustworthy brands. Produce, Deli, Seafood and Meat, always fresh. Never a complaint!
Any location, stores and parking lots are always taken very good care of, very clean; employees and managers are always happy to help if needed.
I definitely noticed their efforts in taking extra precautions with Covid safety measures in helping preventing the spread. Constantly witnessed Employees wiping down the freezer and cold section door handles, carts, and check out Lanes, ect. Anything touched, was cleaned.
And will add, I never witnessed Schnucks, Walmart, Walgreens, QT or anywhere else I can think of, cleaning to the extent I saw from Dierbergs.
Thank you to The Dierbergs family for serving us and always putting your customers first. You are my #1 hometown grocery store!
