Dobbs Tire & Auto Centers, Manchester MO

I went in there with the intention of someone test driving my car in order to figure out a list of problems. They called me back and ended up running expensive diagnostic tests without informing me. They also never verbally gave me informed consent how much I was paying. They simply told me to sign a form as it was my first time there. Little did I know, this had a price of $135. In past experiences with mechanics, they had never charged me for running diagnostic tests. This was a huge shock and I had no way out of paying since I had already signed a document. All in all, they did not test drive my car and did not check all the problems I had requested. Ripped me off. Never going there again

Took care of my needs at their first opportunity. Got a discount on a replacement tire that I didn't expect, which is always nice.

Have had the opportunity to go here a couple of times for new tires on state emissions test. The staff is very friendly and helpful. They don't try an pressure you on upsells and I feel they really want to help you on needed service. For any service outside of my dealer, I'll go here.

I had the pleasure of getting something in my tire that caused it to go flat on the way home. My first response was to put air in it at a filling station and slowly trek home and stop at other filling stations for air until I made to change the tire in my garage in High Ridge. I pulled up at Dobb's in Creve cour, they put air in the tire, but didn't have time to put a new tire on the rim.
So I continued my journey with air leaking out and pulled off at the Dobb's on Manchester for more air and to see if they had time to replace the tire. Chris said he had time and he could also replace the other tire that had a nail on the edge of the tire. I asked him to do a wheel alignment if he had time. He managed to get it all done while I waited in the lobby. Staff was very helpful and friendly. Nobody wants to deal with a flat tire and the hassle of getting new one, but this was about as easy as it could get. Thank you.

I scheduled an appointment for a state license inspection. I got fast and courteous service. They didn't try to sell anything I didn't need, but informed me of what could become a problem if not taken care of sometime soon.

Dobbs got me in and out in no time at all. I went in for an emissions test. Excellent work performed by excellent experts.

This particular one got my car in right away and got it running again. They went above and beyond to get me back on the road. Made a 4 o’clock appointment for an oil change. Left work 15 minutes early so I’d be there on time. My truck in the parking for 30 minutes before that started the oil change, so why did I make an appointment?

Friendly, professional, quick service. They were welcoming and got my tire fixed and mounted in no time!

Flat tire when they were closed but early next day they informed me that I needed a completely new tire, gave me prices and got it fixed that day. Everyone was super nice

Buyer beware, this place takes advantage of people-vulnerable people who do not know better. Shame on you, Dobbs. No regard for what your customer really needs. Just using tactics to scare people to take their money. Nope-will take my business somewhere else with someone I can trust.

They told me I needed synthetic oil and I didn’t which is a more expensive oil change then came out with other things that needed to be done. I noticed they did this to everyone who had something done here. I will never use Dobbs again.especially this location. I didn’t find out about the oil change until I got home so I overpaid. Ridiculous.

Emission and Safety Inspection - Very fast and friendly. Car passed inspection and technician took time to point out a couple of maintenance areas that I might consider in the near future.
