Dogwood Park Inn, Springfield MO

Friendly staff. They make u feel like your at home. It's all family run from the teenagers to the elders. They have remodeled quite a bit. Even there parking lot. It looks great. Has been my fave hotel for the past 15 years when I come to visit Springfield. Thank u all for your warm hospitality.

I sensed some not so friendly vibes coming from the management. What really got me going was that when I called ahead for pricing they did mention that it'll be 10 bucks extra for a NON smoking room. To add on to it is that the deposit HAS to be in CASH. Just mention these on the initial phone call/ listings and at least smile. The employees have that B face on. Other than that it's a go.uhhhh just a motel.

So if this is the only place in Springfield that has a vacancy I HIGHLY suggest going to another town! Filthy, holes in the walls, stained sheets, no lamp shades, no dresser drawers, door handle was about to fall off, and I was woke up FOUR TIMES throughout the night by people looking to buy drugs from the individual who apparently frequents this particular room! Oh, and I paid 85$ for a a few hours of rest that I didn't get. Do not take women or children to this place!

Horrible place. Bugs, broken door and furniture, ripped and stained sheets, very sketchy. They also came into our room pretending to be housekeeping in search of an animal that didnt exist.

They charge me for two people then when I went to get deposit back they tried to say I had 3 people in the room

Since this historic motel has been bought and managed by the current owners, they have strived to make many upgrades and improvements to there grounds an rooms. This place used to be nasty to say the least. But since the rooms have undergone remodeling I am very impressed with the outcome they have reached. The owners are also very nice people and for me privacy is important when staying somewhere other than home. And these owners mind there own and stay out of your business so long as your not breaking the law or destroying there property you won't be bothered.

Very rude staff, rooms have roaches and bedbugs, holes in walls, floors stained, air doesn't work very well. Sheets stained. Prices thru the roof for a 1 star motel.

Nasty would not recommend stinks burns in bedding and graffiti everywhere in the room bad experience

Called at 3AM or so and was told they had a vacancy. When we arrived clerk asked for my ID and a $50 deposit. I handed him my credit card. He said cash. I just looked at him. Who has $50 in cash these days? ! I just stared at him then left. Found a different place.

I paid for the room with a credit card. Then I had to go to atm to get 5000 cash for cleaning/security deposit. Which I did get back when I turned the key in and they checked the room. Also I got bites on me 4 on my face and some on my back. The attendant did not seem to care. I would not recommend this place to anyone.

The staff were arguing on the phone with me listening to the whole thing.it was not n English of course. The front desk is rude and demanding. They don't work well with customer requests. Overall I would not recommend this place to anyone and I will not b staying there again.

Room with cheap. Kids next to us kept banging on everything. There were no drawers in any of the cabinets or end tables or anything not one drawer holes where they should be but not one drawer sockets please fire smoke detector was in pieces partially still on the ceiling door was wide open and we got there and there was ice everywhere. We thought maybe the room had been robbed but she said no that's how it was. I took forever to get warmed up. Was not a great trip was with my Hale.

The people are so nice. Its really clean but outdated but thats ok. I would recommend this place.

Really think you might be able to get a new strain of hepatitis from this trap.it's great

Scammers. Definitely don’t pay in advance. You won’t be able to stay in the room. Inhabitable! No refunds. One star is too much.

My stay was on 2/27/2022 This was the worst place I've ever stayed. The room was dirty, profanity written on the wall. There was black char on the wall like someone had lit a fire.and trash left in the room. The people in the office was very rude. There were no sheets on the bed only a comforter. When I went to the office to ask for Sheets the lady that worked the desk was rude and argued with me telling me there was already sheets on the bed and they had no extra sheets there was nothing they could do. After asking multiple questions and why they have no extra sheets for when people check out to switch out bedding she got annoyed and went to the back and grabbed a blanket off of a bed from her personal living quarters that someone was already wrapped up with. (I know this because I watched her take the blanket off the bed when the door was left cracked open). If I could give 0 stars i would. This place was horrible i would recommended no one stay here!

Disgusting room! Ice machine broken management tried to give me ice from a tray and put in a used plastic grocery bag this is a crack motel plain n simple. Also we came for one night for a funeral will never be back trust me save yourself the money. Also when you pull up you realize it was a mistake and the room charge is not refundable! Steer clear!

I stayed 5 nights @$145 a night. The room had a jacuzzi. The owner stays on the property. He complained to me that my towels were to wet when they swapped out my towels. I requested for the maids to clean my room on day 3. The owners refused because I wouldn't leave my room for the maids to clean, so they didn't. I do not recommend this motel because of the maids steal your stuff when they clean. I was warned of this by the people checking out when I was checking inn. The rooms have a stale odor which gave me a headache.
