Dollar General, Independence MO

The staff there are always nice and helpful. I wish they would have got a little more of the Easter candy I like because they sold out pretty quickly. I love the new renovation of the store. It looks so much bigger and more organized.

I visit atleast twice a week and it's always will stocked and clean. I love this location.

Decent store but there funny about certain things like one store you can buy a phone card with a check or what ever this one you can't cash only

The young man that works here isn't very friendly. He doesn't greet you as you coming. That isn't even what bothers me. When he is the cashier he doesn't talk at all. He won't even say have a nice day back to you when you say it first. He's been working there for a while too. It just makes things very awkward.

Dollar store is the place to go I'd rather go there then go to Walmart Play four nights there Very clean People are very polite

This Dollar general is similar to most Dollar generals not enough cashiers, inventory laying all over the aisles. They have more food than a lot of dollar stores. Parking lot is always full of trash.

This is the 2nd time I visited this particular store Service is slow they wear masks but they don't cover their noses go figure.

This store just looks like it stepped into 2030 I really like how its set up! And the cashier was great! Very personable but not too much.

The employees wear their masks under their chins. Masks are supposed to be mandatory and none of them were wearing them. I won't go back for that reason alone but they weren't friendly at all there either.

Somebody stood next to the door with arms full of stuff. They acted surprised when he ran out with it. To me it was obvious what he was doing

23rd Street location in Independence, mask optional policy for patrons and apparently the person at the register as well as the manager herself who was stocking maskless.store unable to self-govern, I value my health and the health of those in my circle too much to shop there. Gee I wonder why we can't get this covid thing under control?

This store has improved so much their customer service was much better than it's ever been thank you

Well I do wana go there I a month an stock up on stuff usually spend 80 to hundred once a month by with reception I think the need to keep the rig raff out of store or limit how many folks come in regardless the clutter an the Tweekers from the park an be treated when you walk in say hi good afternoon means alot just put stuff away clear I'll then Wii go to the one at 40hwy an Nolan is where I will go your is in better shape than last time um I went to that one perfect Time to make money from us older folks an contribute to the store to be a success. One more time an if so jam up you have to ask for help 3 times for me an I stumble.today go different no

It only takes one, one person to be friendly to make it a great experience these days. These days of everyone living in fear. I pray to God people start waking up. Or quit living in denial. But a very nice lady was pleasant to everyone it was almost closing time and she was that one person.

Since the virus, i have went to this dollar store almost every day. The employees are super nice and helpful. Store is clean. Thank u for helping me threw this rough time, by speaking and being friendly. I give this store 2 thumbs up. Troy C.

Great, I was short 12 bucks and the cashier let the lady behind me help. I was embarrassed, that's never happened to me before in any store.

This particular dollar general is crowded, overflowing with backstock, clearance just thrown in baskets

Dirty! Carts of product that needs to be put away are blocking most of the store/ sellable merchandise! I have been here multiple times, and it is always like that! Long lines, and not so friendly staff!

I really like shopping here. I collect movies and they never disappoint. With that said, I only gave them 3 stars because of their shirts, underwear, and socks. They pin the security devices throught the shirts, socks, and underwear, leaving holes in the fabric. I've contacted corporate about this and they assured me that this is something they ARE NOT suppose to do. Unfortunately, the problem is still ongoing.
