Dollar General, Lee's Summit MO

Finally some remodeling is in the works. Frozen food is greatly expanded. They are moving things around so the quick in and out is history. Posted prices are not matching the current ad. The remodel has made self checkout the primary way to pay. Prices tend to be on the high side.

Awful Awful Awful.

Manager would not ring my order up becuz they closed at 9. There was no PA announcement and I was not told. I was still shopping looking at clothes towards the front of the store when the mgr Came up and told me to leave because they were closed and I said well can you ring up my stuff. He said no because the safe was open and I said we’ll go close your safe and ring up my stuff up and he refused to do it. The mgr said he told me but he was lying. No one told more nor was there a PA announcement. I had no clue.so I left. I was not happy. I came very very close to being a Karen and when I got out to my car it was only 901. He should have rang me up. Never going there again.

I have waited long periods of time simply waiting for a cashier at the counter.

I love to shop at Dollar General. The store is very organized and clean which is very important to me. When I cannot locate an item the staff always stop their work and show me where the item is located. Today I could not find epsom salt and the lady showed me where it was.on a bottom shelf.then she asked me how many bags I wanted.they were heavy.and she put them in my basket.this is not unusual they are always helpful. I also like the variety of items. I enjoy shopping there.

Happily, they were stocking seasonal items for Spring. I bought 4 outdoor chairs and several solar lights, along with the usual health items I came in for.

I enjoy shopping this Lee's Summit Dollar General due to the fact that it's big inside. I can always find what I'm looking for.

They have the best selection of clothes of any Dollar Generals in the area and the service was super on point

Not unlike other DGs. Personnel pleasing and respectful. A much better atmosphere during the pandemic.

I found what I needed just fine, but the poor girl behind the counter was sick with the flu and should have been home resting.

If your employees are sick their health comes first and I'm very disappointed that she was made to come in. Very irresponsible

This is your average Dollar General or what it should be. Ive noticed many around town (Metro) are pretty filthy & you feel as if the staff is seriously accustom to shoplifting. This ones clean, staff is friendly.as I would expect, still nothing remarkable.
