Dollar General, Doolittle MO

Dollar General is gonna put walmart out of business if they keep up what they are doing. Always great always friendly.

This Dollar General's shelves are almost always empty. Products are there but no one stocking.

I really am there ALOT! They have everything we need or want. Mia is always nice, and she's fast getting ya out.kind of a (village) atmosphere. It takes a village!

Friendly and fast check out today. The item I went for was still in stock so I didn't have to travel to Rolla.

Well you definitely do not come to this particular location for the friendly inviting atmosphere or the stellar customer service. Zero acknowledgement from ANY customer service rep.even to the point of check out (which she seemed even put out by that) not ONCE did she utter a single word during any part of our interaction from the time I (only 1 of 2 customers btw) arrived and the time it took to quickly gather what I needed and get the heck out. A mortuary has more life than this store does. At least play some music so customers feel somewhat like they're not in a convent library. Not a conducive atmosphere for browsing. Being a CSR for too many years to care to remember, my advice is at very least pretend to like your job and a simple smile or greeting can honestly change around your clearly unhappy work environment. I understand it's a slow store but management needs to give staff a moral boost. Many blessings and joy to you all.

This particular Dollar General is unique to me in that it actually sells produce? This store is about 3 miles from the town that I reside in and it is a nicely laid out store that is very clean and the employees are really nice and helpful. The 3 Dollar Generals in my town do not offer produce, yet. An employee of the DG I am reviewing told me today that one of the DGs in my town will be carrying produce and I am quite pleased to know that. It is so much easier to zip into a Dollar General, get all of what you are shopping for, than going to Walmart where you try to get a parking space as close to the doors as possible, deal with so many people and have to do a lot of legwork to get your grocery shopping done. I much prefer to shop at DG, than going to Walmart. I like to get in and out of the store quickly and not have so many people holding me up. DG fills those needs in such a friendly way.

They need to actually encourage mask wearing. They let it in all the "too tough for masks douchebags" constantly. Cashier's often have no mask at all, on the chin, or below the nose. This isn't rocket science.

I would like to say that the Dollar generals the new ones that have come up have been really good but it hasn't been as good as the one in Doolittle that serves fresh produce and has a lot more stuff to offer! Keep up the good work Dollar general you really have some hard workers to keep your store together and keeps it looking really nice I have to admit that the stores look really good! Keep up the good work workers you work hard!

There's a county wide mask mandate and they have a big sign on the door saying mask required. They DO NOT enforce this policy. I can't tell you how many times I've come in to see the locals walking around without masks, including employees. They don't care, and the rednecks around here love it.

They don't care about their customers health they don't believe in 6-ft spacing or wearing their mask. They act as if it's a joke and if you say something as to what is going on with the mask, etc.they give you sarcastic answers and dirty looks. I was just there, I asked why the employee wasn't wearing a mask I was told they were working in the back yet they're up front by the customers or I would not have seen the person.

It's always too cramped between the aisles if you got a cart you cannot pass another person and there's never anybody at the station to check you out you always got to yell for somebody that's my experience

This is a nice Dollar General to stop in at. The staff there work their tails off to keep the store in order. It's clean and organized.

The staff are AMAZING! They are are extremely friendly, very helpful and knowledgeable of the store. It would be AWESOME if they would put a produce section in like at the Doolittle location (another good store) The only reason I didn't give the store 5 stars is because they had no canning supplies at all (which isn't the fault of the local staff)! If Dollar General keeps it up and maybe expands a little, they're gonna steal all of Walmart's customers.

They never have enough cashiers working to keep up with the line. So if you want to wait forever to check out, this is the place for u.

Staff is very pleasant. You tell them what your looking for and they drop what there doing and help you.

I dont want to give too low of a review, because there are friendly staff. But then last night a gentleman was standing at the counter for a good 5/6 mins, and I had to yell to the back that there was a customer, and she came out of the office like she was asleep or something. All groggy and Not connected. I get being tired, but they only had an hour left.
