For me the dollar trees are my absolute favorite place to get anything I want except for clothes-which I'm fine with me- it is like a mini Walmart! All 3 in my area of Columbia, Mo- has always been neat and well stocked! I especially the candles, which I admit I can never get enough of -even soy candles which can be hard to find elsewhere. The stores are small enough that you really don't need to much help. I basically just start at the front of which are sometimes the best of all- then work my way up the first aisle and then finish at the end. They have almost every thing you need for your kitchen, school supplies, party supplies, crafts supplies, medicine and beauty needs, etc, etc, etc. Beautiful picture frames that you would pay $5 any where else! I remember once needing a large FOR RENT sign to stick in ground and went to the local hardware store where I paid $12, then shortly thereafter found the exact item for $1! Lastly, I have to warn myself AND others- everything in the store may only cost a dollar- but if you're not careful- you may pay a dollar- you spend $50 dollars and it's not easy to end up doing so-and I have always been VERY, VERY happy with everything I buy! Give it try and I truly believe you will not be disappointed!

On the biggest shopping day of the year arguably Black Friday the Geniuses have one cashier. A line of people that goes down the aisles. Here's the kicker the cashiers trying to set a record for how slow you can scan stuff. The hell with that! I'm going to a real store.

Shittiest place ever. Anytime I go in during rush hour they always have one poor cashier handling all of the customers, sometimes the line is backed up to the back of the store and they will still have one cashier handiling the entire store even if she calls over the intercom for help. The managers are always on their phones during customer transactions too. I’ve also caught three of the managers making fun of the customers and rolling their eyes at customers who just left the store while I was checking out. I go in this store often after my work shift and during my breaks, so I do see and hear a lot. This place is very unprofessional. I’ve asked the cashier one time why the managers were outside smoking and and not helping her when she clearly needed help and tried calling for it and she told me that they do this often when they are not supposed to be on break and that they freak out on her whenever she needs help. The entire store is also always cluttered and I always see one of the cashiers trying to clean it up while the manager is on the phone not doing their job. One of the cashiers told me one time that she had to check 20 dollar bills for counterfeit or she could get fired or written up for not doing it, this store sets really unfair rules to their workers. I also have had cashiers tell me that they can’t take items off of my transaction that I do not want because they could get written up or fired for it if the manager isn’t aware of it first. The majority of the managers are also never really around, they just sit in their office when they are not supposed to be. I’ve also seen manager’s friends or relatives come in and distract them from their job while the cashier takes care of the customers and store. I’ve also heard them making fun of cashiers while the cashier wasn’t around. This store is just terrible.

I shop at least twice a month here at Dollar Tree. It is a great store to shop for party supplies, school needs, glassware and a million other things. And everything is $1.

Went into this store my total was nearly $60. Tried to pay with a $100 bill i recieved from the bank, was told they could not accept the bill. They did not have a counterfeit marker to check the bill just said no due to it was not in pristine condition. It has a small stamp from a bank/Business on it not blocking the water marks or strip in the bill.

Really surprised, this place has gone downhill. Hard to find anything, very messy and disorganized.

Very messy, only two lanes open, store was totally trashed. The cashier in my lane was on the phone the whole time I was in line and through the transaction.
The call sounded like business but it def could've waited until all the customers were gone.
She was toothless, had dirty hair smelled like an ashtray. Worst. $. Store. Ever.

One of my favorite places to shop but you need to know what prices are on sale at regular grocery stores and discount stores a great example is Kroger will have dish soap for 99-cents and many other products you can find on sale at other places for a few cents cheaper but for the most part you can't beat Dollar Tree
