I was at this hotel as I was speaking at a conference held here. We are Hilton Diamond Members, so we stay at a LOT of Hilton Properties. This hotel does not deserve to be part of the Hilton family let alone renting rooms. Our room was outdated. The air was horrible. My husband took over an hour cleaning all the mold, mildew, and gunk out of the air conditioner including old moldy Fritos! We would have left other than being there for the conference. Staff at the check-in and guest services were rude and not helpful at all. When I asked where the ice machine was, I was told just look around your floor. When I asked about the printer not working in the business center and needing to print 3 pages I was made to stand around for close to 30 minutes to get them printed (which the business center printer has never work for as long as the maintenance guy has been working there. I got the gist that was at least 6 months or more!). The food at the bar was decent with nice service. The conference room was decent but dated. We did have a person who was high on drugs walk into our vendor section from off the street. So forget security! We found out even after dealing with a sick that wouldn’t drain and all the air quality issues, we were the fortunate ones as many others in our conference group had mold infested rooms! The event team also messed up multiple speaker reservations even when the paperwork was clear as could be. I would recommend you stay far far away from this “hotel”. Hopefully Hiltons management sees these reviews and acts on them as the hotel management which I did interact with is where the problems start with.

The room was fine. The pool area however, was infested with roaches. The front desk agent went to check but was overheard telling the gm "I think they just want a free room. " We left items that the pests were crawling on & the gm responded "we don't reimburse for these items. " He never once apologized for the inconvenience nor was there an offer of anything. He was ridiculously rude, grabbed the things we left & walked away. Never returned to say anything. His attitude towards us was more disgusting than the actual incident.

We stayed here this weekend for a soccer tournament. Location was convenient, but that was the end of the positives. This place was GROSS. Pictured is my mattress, and what looks to be an old blood stain. The bathroom had peeling wallpaper and it looked moldy. The pool area was outdated and rusty, missing ceiling tiles and exposed air ducts.
As far as service, I requested clean towels at 7: 30pm and was still waiting at 8: 45. Called again and was told they're "on the way". We ended up falling asleep because it got to be too late.
They do not clean during your stay unless you request it.
They were down an elevator the whole weekend so elevator wait times were ridiculous. No indoor stairs to take, only outdoor fire escape stairs.
The breakfast provided for the teams consisted of dry breakfast sandwiches, the fruit and yogurt ran out within 30 min, and mini muffins. Nothing to drink but coffee.
This place is begging to be renovated. We paid $150 dollars a night and when I reported the issues the manager "wasn't going to be there until Monday" so I left my name and number to get a call. There was a giant notebook of several names and numbers, and not surprised we weren't the only ones to complain.

Room had big stains on the floor. Bathroom had other people's hair all over. TV is ancient and has bad screen quality. Overall the room just felt old and dirty. At check in and check out the front desk gave the impression they never done it before as they stumbled through it. My key card did not work even from check in and when I asked if the digital card would work on the elevator I was told that she didn't know and to go try it.

Rooms are very outdated in terms of stained carpet, shower condition and the tv and cable programming seems like it’s from 1990. Bed was nice and clean and common areas were nice. Roy was great bartender and counter people were very helpful. Breakfast was not good. $19 buffet only for food that is eh. Oh and they don’t take cash at all in the hotel. I stayed 3 nights.

Hotel is about 15-20 min from the airport. Check in was easy and quick. The hotel had a strong smell of cleaning products. The room was clean, bed was comfortable. Lunches were very good and staff was helpful. Lots of sports teams staying there on Friday and Sat night, kids everwhere! I gave service 3 stars because of miscommunication about morning airport shuttle and having to book an Uber for the trip to airport. Staff was unaware of correct beginning shuttle time. It was a $42.00 ride.

This hotel advertises room service on the Hilton website, but does not actually offer it. I asked for a refund or to cancel my 2nd night because I exclusively booked this hotel for room service, and GM told me I’d have to talk to Hilton. Hilton says I have to talk to GM. And there’s nothing that can be done after I’ve been checked in, except everything up until check in (false advertising) led me to believe they had room service. Do not come here if you just want room service.

The GM did offer for the food and beverage manager to contact me to set up room service. When I was finally contacted, I asked for a menu and was told I can go down to the hotel bar to look at a menu and place an order there if I’d like. Unfortunately, this was not my idea of room service.

To make things worse, the Wi-Fi barely struggled to reach my phone muchless download email. I definitely couldn’t stream anything to watch. The TV itself was broken, the display didn’t even take up the full screen and the remote did not function at all.

The room smell terrible the moment I walked in. I could see things growing on the roof of a lower building. The hotel did not seem well maintained at all. The $16.95 breakfast buffet is the same as any other continental breakfast served free at most hotels.

I pre-paid but ended up leaving a night early and cutting my losses because it was that bad. This stay completely ruined my view of the Doubletree branding. I used to put them with higher brand, luxury hotels, but this is mid-tier and you would be the same not better off staying at the Choice down the street and saving a bit.

Zero stars! I HIGHLY DO NOT RECOMMEND! If you plan on staying at the DoubleTree Hotel Westport in St. Louis, MO to visit the indoor pool, DO NOT bother. Long story short, IT’S ROACH infected and I’m still shaken up about what my family and I endured and how we were treated. Short story long…continue to read. My mom, my daughter (11), my son (5 months), and I decided to spend some family time at the pool before my mom headed back home to AZ the next morning. We walked into the indoor pool room, sat our belongings on the table and chairs and got in the pool. My daughter swam as we sat on the steps in the water. My mom pointed out a small roach crawling on the edge of the pool. She killed it with a flip flop. A few minutes later my daughter got out to go grab her towel and saw more roaches running on the pavement. At that point, we decided to leave. We went back to grab our belongings and they were everywhere! On my son pool float that was on the ground, on my jacket that was on the chair, running across the cell phone that was on the table! So we left the belongings there because I didn’t even want them anymore! We literally left in just our swimsuits! I went to the front desk trying to be calm and discreet because there were customers sitting in the lobby and at the bar. The front desk person (Jaylah) called the general manager (Dan) to come check it out. Jaylah walked into the pool room and I waited outside the door. She laughed on the phone with the GM telling him we were just trying to get free stuff and she didn’t see anything. She came back out and told me the GM was on his way down. I walked back in the pool room with the maintenance guy (Jon) who got my key out the jacket pocket (because I couldn’t bare to touch it) and he proceeded to spray the pool room with raid bug spray. While this is happening, the GM (Dan) walks in with an attitude asking what happened. I started to tell the story while pointing to where we were sitting and he jumped back and told me I can tell the story without using my hands as if he was threatened by my action of pointing. He then grabbed the clothing that I said I no longer wanted and told me I would not be reimbursed for them (as if I asked) and walked out. Jon apologized on the GMs behalf and helped me get my baby stroller and bag because that was all I wanted. The GM didn’t walk us out, apologize, NOTHING. He was very rude and I’ve never been treated so poorly in my life. I was not trying to get anything for free because YOU CAN’T PAY ME to ever step foot in that roach fest of an establishment ever again. The audacity of the conversation they had when they thought no one was listening is a defamation of character and a piss poor way of treating customers who still tried to save face for you by whispering in the lobby when I didn’t have to. If you view the camera footage, it supports everything I’ve written here. Go elsewhere.

We stayed here as part of a group booking for a soccer tournament for my 17 yo daughter. So, I didn’t choose it.
But, I expected better from a Hilton property, honesty. First thing we noticed was the really pungent stale, almost cigarette like smell as we entered. Then noticed the dirty carpet and spring-y bed. Rough sheets and filthy AC unit.

This place needs updating to a degree, but really it just needs to be better maintained. It just shouldn’t be that dirty if cleaned properly and regularly.

No room service unless requested.
Ice machine and vending machines are l disabled on our floor and not working.
Bedding had blood on it.
Walls have large bubbles of water damage some expanding 18 inches.
Headboards on beds are peeling.
Tables and desks are all scratched and dinged up.
Dresser drawer was hanging off hinges upon arrival.
Door handle doesn’t work for entry to room you have to jiggle it and lift up to open door.
Front desk was very accommodating to our unpleasant arrival with the bloody sheets and broken dresser. Receptionist was professional and welcoming. Moved us to another room no questions asked where all the other issues listed above lay. Staff is great. Hotel itself needs some serious repairs

Overall feels dirty and run down
It does feel like a safe neighborhood

We reserved a room weeks in advance for my sons soccer tourney but when we arrived they had given our room to someone else and now we’re saying we needed to pay for two rooms which were more then the original price for each room. So now my kids are staying in a separate room. Thanks Hilton, that was great.

When booking hotel I picked to have breakfast included to find out AFTER eating the breakfast buffet it’s 17$ per person for breakfast as we was about to finish we were met with a 36$ bill for 2 people.refrigerator in the room did not work, paint was peeling from ceiling in main room near window the shower knob fell off.appears no updates have been done since around 2005 on most things such as shower head tv alarm clock ect. Had no access to mobile key through the app the card room key only worked for hotel room and elevator no access to pool or to come in from outside through any door. The fitness room was also unavailable.

This place is awesome if you are planning on attending a show @ the amphitheater. We stayed just 1 night, check in was fast and simple about 3 hours before the show started. We ate dinner before heading over to the show in one of the many restaurants available. Then, we hopped on the shuttle bus and they dropped us right off at the front gate and picked us up after the show in the same spot. Less than 5 minute travel time and made it so worth it. The rooms were nice, but could be a little cleaner. No doubt, would stay here again. Best experience with the shuttles - they make going to a show and staying overnight absolutely worth the trip.
