If you have issues with this guy file a complaint to the State of Missouri Chief disciplinary council! Hired this guy last October to take care of a speeding ticket. Not only did he not show up to two court hearings he also didn’t even assign himself as my attorney so I’ve gotten two letters threatening to put out a warrant for my arrest. This guy was asking me to hire him again after I already paid him a month earlier! This guy is a joke!

I hired this guy several months ago. I was told I would receive a bill via email. Which I never did. I’ve asked him multiple times to get my fines set up with a payment plan. Bc I have 2 traffic tickets. I have called him so many times, which he would usually answer, tell me he’ll call me back, which he never does. Until I call again. And am told the same thing, again! I’ve driven to his office 3 times to pay him, he’s never there. Now, the last 3 weeks he has ignored my calls and text messages. I had to find out when my next court date for my fines was by looking on casenet. Since he’s failed to even respond to me the last 3 weeks, I now have to take off work 2 separate days to appear in court, which is money I am loosing. Sure he sounds great at first bc he’s very affordable, but if you are thinking about ever hiring him, DONT! I have never met someone who calls themselves an attorney be so unprofessional, unreliable, and not even able to call a supposed client back.

I phoned Mr Heagler to take care of a traffic ticket. He told me how much and that I would receive a bill to my email, and that the first court date would be pushed. Well first court date got pushed, but I never received a bill. Well I started phoning him, he would answer every time and say he would call me back. Well after months of me calling him, him saying he would call me back, and my court date kept getting pushed, I am now one court date away from a warrant. If he is too busy to take on my case he should have just said so from the beginning.

Douglas helped me with a ticket. He is always polite and answered all my questions patiently. He provided me proper guidance on the case. I would definitely recommend Douglas to my friends.

Mr. Heagler was wonderful to work with. He is a great communicator, things simple- polite, but straight to the point. I will definitely be using in the future should the need arise again!

Douglas' prices were very reasonable and he handled my ticket the way he said he would. I would recommend him to anyone.

I have been trying to take care of a ticket for several months now. I have sent texts…. No response. I’ll call and ask for an update and I’m told “he’ll take care of it and call me back later”. Never received a call back. Probably the worst law firm I’ve experienced and now I’m in more trouble because my tickets were never taken care of, and frankly they were probably never even started on by “Heagler Law”. Awful.

Mr.heagler was on the ball we lost my wifes car he got it back the next day others where more worryed about when they where getting payed he was more worryed about getting her car back asap. Thanks Mr. Heagler.

I called 2 weeks before my court date and he never called back or even helped with my case. When tried I to call back his voicemail box was full.very unprofessional wouldn't recommend to anyone
