1 Broke my arm and needed surgery. Dr. Cornett was doctor on duty who was assigned my case. He operated and used plate to repair break.
At one year out after surgery I was having severe pain. This pain continued to the next few years. Upon returning to Dr. Cornett, he offered no solution to my issue. He looked at me and states, "So what do you think I should do"? At that point I knew I was in the wrong doctor's office.
Upon finding another orthopedic surgeon I learned he used the wrong apparatus to rep air the break and due to the length of time that had passed, too much scar tissue had formed it was too late to remove the apparatus.
I would never recommend Dr. Cornett to anyone. Kansas City has numerous excellent orthopedic surgeons. Dr. Cornett is not one of them.
