AVOID this doctor! Went for a well check which should of been covered. Over a year later I received a huge bill. Then when I tried to argue they sent to collections. This was a well check. Nothing else was asked. Nothing else was done. This should of been covered and if it wasn't I should of gotten a bill in a reasonable amount of time. Then when I paid the doctors office they lost my card number and had no record of the payment so I had to pay a second time. Still need to check to make sure my card was not billed twice. Staff was completely unhelpful and rude to top it all off.

I want to start out by saying that Dr. Huelskoetter herself is a lovely person and doctor. She is friendly, caring and puts you at easy while you are in her office.

That said, this office needs to make some drastic changes. I had been going here for over a decade and I almost never was seen without a 30+ minute delay. This was fine when I only needed to go for an annual appointment, but once I got pregnant, it got dramatically worse.

Almost every appointment I had got rescheduled at least 3 times, and then when I did get in it was again a 30+ minute wait once I was there. Some of Dr. Huelskoetter's staff is polite, but I always had one nurse/assistant who would yell at me over the most ridiculous things (like giving a urine sample after I had literally just given one). When I decided to transfer practices to give myself an easier pregnancy experience, this nurse/assistant REFUSED to send my medical records saying it was "office policy" not to send (this is against the law). Eventually Dr. Huelskoetter had to step in herself to fax them after weeks of asking- which was honestly ridiculous.

Also, I don't think there is another doctor in the practice anymore- so if Dr. Huelskoetter gets called out for a delivery or goes on vacation- then you are out of luck.

All in all, if you are just looking for a kind doctor and don't care about dealing with disorganized and often rude staff, then you'll be fine. But for me, it was a giant headache.

Dr Huelskoetter herself is great, zero complaints. However, her office staff and NP, Katie, were rude to me on multiple occasions. Granted, I was 15 mins late to a visit, and the office refused to see me once I arrived. I'm normally a very punctual person, and I understand rules, but I never felt welcome here. I recently called to renew a prescription and they very coldly told me that I was overdue for an appointment. I did not miss a scheduled appointment or ignore any requests from them to schedule one. Regular appointments are important, I agree, but I was treated as though I was a trouble patient before I was even asked to get one on the calendar. What if I had COVID concerns? I was not given a chance to discuss. I would have scheduled one if I hadn't been greeted with this tone, almost as if they wanted a fight. Instead, I decided to schedule an appointment elsewhere as a new patient next month.

I like to be understanding and gave them many chances but ultimately felt I was not valued. I didn't do anything to deserve their cold treatment so my assumption is that they must treat everyone this way. I should hope it doesn't have anything to do with the fact that I generate less revenue because I don't plan to have any children but the thought has crossed my mind.

She is all the things! Switched to Dr. Huelskoetter from another practice after a recommendation from a friend when finding out I was pregnant with my first baby. Had the most amazing experience! She helped ease my mind on any concerns I had during my pregnancy- she was exactly the doctor I needed as I had a lot of anxieties of things I thought could happen during pregnancy. Extremely personable as well as knowledgeable. Couldn’t have imagined a better first experience! So happy I found her- she is the best!

I've been seeing Dr. H for the last 12 years- including my 2 pregnancies. She is great and I'd recommend her to anyone. She's personable while still answering your questions and making sure you are good. My one and only complaint is that there is often a decent amount of wait time in the exam room (read- naked and cold).
