Dr. Puthoff and his team are amazing. He is so kind and fully listens to you and never rushes you. He is thorough in his plans and doesn’t want to waste any time before the next treatment. I saw him for fertility and quickly went through a lot of tests, got scheduled for surgery and am now making the post-op plan. Get on his wait list now he is worth it!

There are not enough words to describe how incredible and compassionate everyone at Veritas Fertility is and especially Dr. Puthoff. They make you feel so welcome, heard, cared for, and are so supportive from the first day you walk into that office. I have never gone more than 24 hours without having my questions or concerns addressed, whether it was over the phone, through email or sending them a message through my patient portal. Vicki at the front desk is absolutely amazing and so on top of everything. The nurses are great and truly care about their patients, and Dr. Puthoff is hands down one of the best doctors I've ever encountered. From my very first consult with him, he took the time to listen, he did not sugar coat things and gave me real, honest answers that I've been searching for through my fertility journey. And from that first consult, he created a plan of action and went above and beyond to try everything to help me conceive. He is very good at what he does, and for the first time I had hope. Infertility can be such a hard topic to discuss, yet Ive never felt more comfortable talking to a doctor. He did bloodwork, made sure my tubes weren't blocked, and did surgery to get rid of my endometriosis, and I trusted him every step of the way. It has been 10 months since I walked through those doors, and I finally got those two pink lines staring back at me. I can't thank his clinic or Dr. Puthoff enough for everything they have done to help me and get me to this point. They truly put the well being of their patients first and I will forever be grateful that a friend of mine suggested I see him and that I took her advice!

I am a patient of Dr. Puthoff’s and I am so very grateful for him and his staff. I don’t even know where to begin to adequately express my gratitude, but I’ll try to keep it brief. I have two children – one is 7 years old and the other is 4. First, it is not lost on me that I am incredibly blessed to have these children because I know that so many struggle with infertility. I, too, had issues becoming pregnant. I then had two fairly traumatic deliveries. Both children were fine, but I suffered from placenta issues during both deliveries, most notably during the second delivery when I was diagnosed with placenta increta and required about 4.6 liters of blood, but I was ultimately fine (in the short term). However, my health was never quite right after delivering my second child. For four years, I visited a number of medical care professionals who tried to understand the cause of my pelvic pain, fatigue, weakened immunity, lack of menstruation, dizziness, headaches (and the list goes on and on). I underwent ultrasounds, blood tests, and several additional tests, but no one could uncover my issues. I was convinced (and so were a couple medical care providers) that the bulk of my issues were “in my head. ” Fast forward to April, 2021 when I had a virtual appointment with Dr. Puthoff. By the end of our 45-minute conversation, he knew of a possible cause for at least one of my health issues, and he had a plan. And then by this fall (after I went to his office for a “saline sonogram”), he performed surgery on me and fixed my issues. Turns out, my scar tissue/adhesions from my prior surgeries had basically closed my uterus on the inside and had fused 3 of my organs together on the outside of my uterus. Because I did not want to have additional children, he performed a hysterectomy to rid me of my scarred uterus, but he was also able to clean out all of the adhesions that had formed outside of my uterus. Finally, he was able to completely fix my csection scar, which had attached itself to my uterus. Not only do I feel like a new person, my scar looks so much better. He is truly a very gifted surgeon with incredible bedside manner who really cares about finding solutions that work for each individual patient. His staff is equally caring and kind. I am so very lucky to have been treated by Dr. Puthoff, and I highly recommend him.

I honestly have difficulty putting into words how wonderful Dr. Gavin Puthoff is. We struggled with Infertility for 3 1/2 years. We found Dr. Puthoff about 2 1/2 years into our long journey. After 4 failed IUI’s, laparoscopy that gave us information, but no help, and a recommendation to pursue IVF, we found him! He was able to fix my problem that the previous doctor said could not be fixed. After a few short months, I then ended up getting pregnant with twins naturally with just the help of medication. He truly was a godsend and we will forever be grateful for him and the growing family he was able to help us with. I highly recommend him for anyone struggling with infertility. He will assess the entire picture and get to the root of the problem versus just recommending IVF to anyone who struggles.

Due to Dr. Puthoff's knowledge and outstanding surgical ability, we now have a baby girl. It 100% would not have been possible without him! Thank you ever so much, and may you long continue to give people hope and joy!

Dr. Puthoff is the best! After 2 years of infertility, we travelled to St. Louis from Iowa as a last resort. Dr. Puthoff immediately made us feel comfortable and hopeful. He allowed us to ask all of our questions, answered them all, and never rushed the visit. He is an AMAZINGLY talented surgeon, and as soon as we met him we knew we were in good hands. 4 months after my surgery, I was pregnant and now have an 8 month old baby girl! In addition to having a family, I also no longer have pain from endometriosis, which has completely changed my life for the better. It was so worth the wait to get an appointment with him. Dr. Puthoff's willingness to work with us from a distance was generous and so appreciated. We are (and will always be) so grateful for this doctor. I only wish he were closer to us, that I could see him again to thank him in person, and that there were more doctors like Dr. Puthoff!

Absolutely fantastic doctor and staff. They are truly doing God's work. The compassion, bedside manner, care, expertise and professionalism is par none. We had been to three other infertility doctors before landing here, and we are beyond thankful our long/painful road of infertility led us to Dr Puthoff's office. Words fall short of how incredible this clinic is. Special thanks to Nurse Jeanette who took the time to answer my MANY questions before/after my surgery and was so patient and encouraging throughout the process. Highly recommend.

I have been struggling with infertility for 2 years. I waited 8months to see Dr. Puthoff and one week (literally) before my long awaited appointment, this past December, I was sent something in the mail that he was leaving Mercy and would only bill out of network. I have no out of network coverage on my insurance and can not afford the cost. I was going to move forward with that first appointment which would have still been covered to see if it could have provided me with anything. That appointment kept being changed twice eventually into the new year with no coverage. Needless to say I never saw Dr. Puthoff but thought the entire handling of the situation was poor. Patients should have got more notice on the change. I had to be added to another NaPro doctors long waitlist and I am still here with no answers or help. Earlier notice could have been that much earlier on another unbearable waitlist. Infertility is a terrible thing for a woman to deal with mentally and the entire situation with his office added on another 8plus months for me with no help and the continued mental burden.

It can be very hard to find a physician that listens to you, honestly listens. Concerns, questions, worries, everything. Being a woman this is a very real struggle we face, not with Dr. Puthoff. I personally faced this issue for several decades. After my 1st appointment with Dr. Puthoff, I was completely blown away. I was shocked to finally find a physician that actually listened to me. He has continued to do so ever since then. Not only does he listen to me, he make sure I know exactly what was going on every step of the way. I know my treatment plan and that I'm comfortable with it. Infertility and miscarriages are very hard to deal with. I have been met with nothing but compassion and caring from Dr. Puthoff and his staff. He is a highly trained and educated physician. I have encountered him as a kind, empathic and understanding with his patients. He is in a class of his own when it comes to physicians. He has helped me understand so many things that other physicians didn't even take the time to acknowledge. He really has helped improve things in my life. I wouldn't be where I am today without him.

Dr. Puthoff and his staff were amazing! He was able to diagnose the cause of my infertility and one month after my surgery I found out I was pregnant! We are just about to celebrate one year with our little one!

Dr. Puthoff is kind, compassionate and caring. He takes his time to answer all your questions and concerns. He also gets to the root of your problem. I had been in terrible pain for years and he is the first doctor who didn't tell me birth control was the only option available to me for my pain. He is extremely thorough and makes sure his patients are well taken care of and has a great staff also! I cannot believe how much better I feel since surgery. If you have any kind of reproductive problems, Dr. Puthoff is truly the best.

Dr. Puthoff is a very knowledgeable, kind, and caring doctor! My only question is why I didn’t find him sooner! His office staff is just equally amazing.

Dr. Puthoff listened to my concerns, and took his time to explain to me the tests he would do so as to find the root of my problem. And my goodness he found it! Did I mention that this was done in less than 1 month after I saw him?

I have not even scheduled my future surgeries with him yet. I honestly just had to come here and write this review, and help anyone else out there who may be searching.

Dr. Puthoff and his staff are AMAZING! With a history endometriosis and two prior surgeries, I was not looking forward to another surgery. When a friend recommended Dr. Puthoff and shared her experience with surgical NaProTechnology, I did some research and my consult. I decided to fly from Florida to St. Louis to have the surgery. It was the BEST experience and surgery I’ve had! The day of my surgery and the days after, I was walking and feeling better than I’ve had with my 2 previous surgeries, which was difficult in the past due to pain. Dr. Puthoff, his office staff, especially Jeanette, and the OR team were all very caring, genuine, professional, and compassionate. I am forever grateful for this experience and such a wonderful team.

He was a fantastic doctor. Before I knew about him, every doctor told me my pain was in my head and/or my fault. Dr. Puthoff took steps to diagnose me, make sure he got everything, and operated on me. He was gentle, courteous, kind, understanding, and patient. Couldn't have found a better doctor.
