Dr. Jason K. Sloan, Kansas City MO

I was referred to this doctor after all my tests from other providers. This doctor was straightforward and answered all my questions. He was great at explaining was the next steps would be and what to expect. I highly recommend.

Dr Sloan is an amazing Dr who goes above and beyond what he can within his power. He has delivered all 4 of my children my first being in the snow and ice storm in 2006 and he got called in and spent the night in the hospital due to the conditions, he finally delivered me via csection and I hardly had a visible scar and my 3 other blessings was all also born via csection and my scar is barely noticeable his professional conduct goes above and beyond and he puts his patients at top priority I would suggest using him for any future babies

First off, do not use Jason Sloan as your OBGYN. He may have the “experience” but don't let that fool you. This was the worst OBGYN we have ever had. Everything was fine in the beginning. We currently have a four year old with special needs, so we specified to Dr. Sloan the medical history of our son, at which point we became a high risk pregnancy. He was great the first appointment, but every appointment after that, we were treated as though we didn't matter. We had ONE ultrasound. ONE! 90 percent of the appointments were video calls even though we were high risk. Our last appointment was horrible. We had an hour wait in the waiting room and a half hour wait in the room. When he walked in he probably spent five minutes and told me I looked fine and left. Unbelievable! Three weeks ago my mucus plug came out and I called Dr. Sloan. He told me it was totally normal and that I can still go full term without it. I looked online and TONS of people were saying that once your plug is gone, that baby is coming quick. I mistakenly chose to listen to Dr. Sloan. Two weeks later I called the office and explained what was going on. I was in so much pain with my contractions and it wasn't normal. Unfortunately Dr. Sloan was the one on call that day. He told me to come on in and get checked because I sounded afraid. I was given medicine to stop the contractions and they sent me from Saint Luke's North to Saint Luke's on the Plaza because they didn't handle anything under 34 weeks. Before I was transferred, Dr. Sloan checked me vaginally and I was at 5 cm. He told me that the goal was to keep the baby in and that I could probably go a few more weeks to full term. When I got to the plaza, they asked if I had an ultrasound and I said no. That's the first thing they did. Jason Sloan told me I was at 5 cm and then I got to the plaza and all the sudden I'm at 7 cm. This isn't my first baby. Nobody goes from 5 cm to 7 cm in under an hour. My husband was on his way home to get some clothes just in case we stayed overnight. After the ultrasound, they found that the baby was breached and they didn't have much time to do the c-section. I had to call my husband and tell him to get back here or he's going to miss the birth of our son. Our son was born on 08/01/2020 and he is the most perfect little guy, but this could have been avoided had Jason Sloan not been an idiot and actually did his job. We could have gone full term. PLEASE FOR THE LOVE OF GOD DO NOT USE JASON SLOAN!

We absolutely love Dr. Sloan! He is great to work with, direct and seriously listened to our concerns. We felt heard and relieved to have such a great OB. Highly recommend him and his staff

Dr. Sloan is very caring and thorough, listens to you and investigates. He makes you feel extremely comfortable which is a plus. His staff is very friendly and they care about you. Without reservation I highly recommend his practice.

I have had an awful experience with this Dr and his office. He has ignored my emails, will not speak to me directly and is currently refusing me service simply because he doesn't feel comfortable. He has caused me a large amount of stress by being very unprofessional. I have done everything asked of me to no avail. He hasn't contacted me to assist me with finding another Dr, hasn't properly advised me of my conditions, hasn't given a valid reason for his denial of services, hasn't helped me at all. The office manager here doesn't help. She was informed of all this, stated she would follow up with the Dr and his staff and did none of that. I now have to start over in the middle of a health crisis Covid-19. Finding a Dr who can assist me promptly has been a challenge. I have googled and called almost all local Ob/Gyns! How is this okay? I wouldn't recommend any Dr at this facility because all of them have refused to provide care. I was a patient of Dr Kramers as well. I would give them a zero if I could.

We all dread well woman exams etc. Dr. Sloan is very nice and made me feel very comfortable throughout my appointment. He answered all questions with ease and seemed very in tune with any concerns I had. I will definitely stick with him myself and highly recommend him to anyone in need of a really great OB/Gyn provider!

LOVE Dr. Sloan! Best Doctor Ever! I've never felt so comfortable talking to a doctor as I was with him. You can tell that he really loves what he does, and your not just another patient to him, you are a person. You can trust that he really knows what he's doing, and he takes your situation seriously while making you feel so confident that he will do all in his power to help you. I have recommended so many people to Dr. Sloan, and everyone of them would say, OMG! He has such a great, down to earth, people personality, and they love every visit just as much as I did. I highly recommend Dr. Sloan to anyone who is looking for the best experience with a doctor you can have!
