The Dr. Was very Professional, helpful and friendly. She explained my prescription very well and answered every question I had. All other employees there were very helpful and made sure that my insurance information was entered properly, explained all coverages and made sure that all of the i’s were dotted and t’s were crossed. I had a most definite positive experience!
Dr Veenhuis and John were both Awesome! Always the best care! Dr Veenhuis always explains everything in detail and to my understanding. I always feel very comfortable knowing I am getting the best possible care! John always helps me order my new contacts getting the best deals with rebates! The doctor is great, makes me laugh and explains on my progress with my eyes. The custome service is great.

The person who fitted me for glasses was horrible. Ordered the wrong glasses, added on features I did not ask for which increased my cost and then argued with me. When I tried to fix the situation he was rude and unpleasant. I never got my glasses from Target Optical.
2023 Update - Absolutely nothing has changed. Dr. V is still great!

I recently had the pleasure of visiting the office of Dr. Veenhuis and I must say, it was a fantastic experience. From the moment I walked in, I was greeted warmly by the staff, Eric, and he made me feel right at home. The office was clean, modern, and well-organized.
Dr. Veenhuis was incredibly thorough during my eye exam, taking the time to explain everything he was doing and why it was important. He was patient with my questions and concerns and made me feel completely at ease throughout the entire process.
What really stood out to me, though, was Dr. Veenhuis and Eric 's expertise and attention to detail. They both took the time to make sure my prescription was exactly right, and even recommended a new type of contact lens that I had never heard of before and helped me find the right sunglasses. I'm so glad they did because it has made a huge difference in my comfort and clarity of vision.
Overall, I would highly recommend Dr. Veenhuis to anyone in need of an optometrist. He is professional, knowledgeable, friendly, and truly cares about his patients' eye health. Thank you, Dr. Veenhuis for such a wonderful experience!
Target is my new favorite for eye exams and glasses. The staff at Fenton is so very nice and accommodating. I had exam services here that I've not had in my 40 years of wearing glasses/contacts before that really helped. Being able to try a prescription glasses lens in a mock frame was perfect.
