Dr Rosenak's Optical Options, St Joseph MO

I was immediately greeted with friendliness. The staff was wonderful. Dr Rosenak's family is originally from the Peoria Illinois area. I just moved from Peoria to st Joseph a year ago and it was wonderful to hear about this town here and he was familiar with the Peoria area. Glad to have chosen them!

I just had my 4th eye exam with Dr Rosenak and I have to say that I am totally impressed with the entire staff! When I arrived I was greeted by the staff. They were so friendly and made me feel very comfortable like family. My entire experience from the time arrived through every test until my appointment was finished i didnt want to leave. Everyone was so nice and knowledgeable. And lots of laughter as well. I liked that everyone could speak freely and honestly without any kind of judgements. I highly recommend Dr Rosenak's office to everyone.
I promise ive been to a few places and this one is the best!

As a former (not so happy) customer of Sabates Eye Center, Dr. Rosenak's Selection and Service was a very welcomed change. 100% upgrade in both customer service and selection. The entire staff was welcoming and informative, and the young man who assisted me (Dan), took care of all my needs professionally and efficiently. I was amazed at the selection and pricing of frames, having spent the past month, shopping countless chain stores, never finding the service or selection offered by Dr. Rosenak's office. They have gained a customer for life. Thank you so much for the help!

I have been going to this office for a couple years now and what saddens me is that Dr Rosenak during my eye appointment decided to share his political views. This made me feel uneasy. I now need to think if i am going to keep doing business there as normally a very experience just with all going on why even bring up politics? I just feel that everyone is allowed to have their views but an appointment is not the place to share them and it really makes them look unprofessional.

I am a new patient at Optical Option and since joining (Oct 20) : Everyone has been so friendly, knowledgeable, and welcoming. It was an absolute headache (or so i thought) moving offices during Covid, but everyone welcomed me with open arms and made me feel like a priority. Dr. Fitzgerald has been just wonderful!
It’s been a perfect fit!

It is so unfortunate to feel compelled to leave this review and accompanying single star- unfortunate because Dr. Rosenak was quite pleasant and knowledgeable. His demeanor was humble, yet his presence undeniable.

Quite on the other hand, dealing with the overconfident, egotistical office staff proves to be infinitely stressful. The front office staff refused to release my contact prescription until I attended another unnecessary "fitting" appointment; to conduct a fitting that already occurred at my initial. I had to go so far as to remind them of the Fairness to Contact Lens Consumers Act of 2004 as well as the minutiae of The Contact Lens Rule to finally get them to capitulate to my request.

After a 15-minute call explaining their own lunacy to them and then finally getting some resolution, the front office staff then tried to "snail mail" me the documents I requested as a final attempt of vindictiveness. I demanded they be emailed and the staff reluctantly agreed perpetuating the debacle of a conversation and wasting more of my time. I wasn't going to give any of this a second thought, but nearly an hour after that phone call ended, I still do not have my prescription.

All this because I work 70-80 hours per week and have not (and will not) be able to attend another unnecessary appointment that legally is not required.

Oh and one particular staff member must have felt a little better about herself when she made sure to let me know I was "persona non-grata" at their office going forward. Oh really? ! Did you actually think I wanted to come back? Madness.

I’m always greeted with a smile from the staff in the office. They have a wide selection of frames and are always happy to help when you need it! Overall great service, and a business I will return to!

Wonderful, professional and friendly place. They have taken good care cf my eyes and my grand daughters for several years now. I would highly recommend this business for any age.
