Dr. Steven A. Gruenebaum, MD reviews
6I've been with doctor Gruenebaum, For what we believe was over 30 years. And during that time with him and all the staff members he's had, I've never had an issue.
Very glad I've found Dr. Gruenebaum, have been seeing him for years. I trust his knowledge and opinions and his desire to help with any problem I've had. Very happy with him and his office.
Do not go to Dr. Gruenebaum. Very rough. Very unprofessional. I am surprised he is still able to practice. Beware.
A treble doctor bad bedside manner don't think he care anymore and same for his so call nurse
Dr. Gruenebaum has been my PCP since 2008. I'm so lucky to have been recommended to him! I've always felt I wasn't just another # in a waiting room, Dr G takes the time to get to know ME, my life bkground and daily activity & my real needs. Terese, his medical assistant is one of the kindest, gentle nurses I've ever met. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED. Bonus! To boot if you need any imaging or labs drawn you dont have to be sent to different facility; all this is located in Wornall office.
Stay far, far away from this office. As if the the rudeness and unprofessionalism of the staff weren't enough, Gruenbaum had the nerve to laugh at me and tell me that antidepressants weren't necessary when I needed to go on them, immediately dismissing everything doing on as fake without making even the slightest attempt to understand it.
Now for the kicker, they've halted my prescription twice without warning. I understand they need to do blood tests, but BOTH TIMES I was given no warning as to when this needed to be done. The first time it sent me off them cold turkey, which is both dangerous and painful to anyone on antidepressants. I was in withdrawal for three weeks before they finally fixed it.
Now it has happened again and the staff care just as little as ever. I don't even live in Kansas City anymore and haven't found a new doctor yet, so now I've been left out to dry not once, but TWICE. Again, with no warning as to when my prescription would be stopped.
Do yourself a favor and go literally anywhere but here. The level of incompetence at this office is incredible. Don't come here for a problem if you care about it getting fixed.
