Drivers Licensing Station, Springfield MO

I had a great experience here. Officer Jones in the highway patrol testing office was especially kind. The lady's upstairs in the license office were also very helpful and had me taken care of in a matter of minutes.

Seems to be a quick trip for me but maybe that's just my luck. Definitely check what you need before you go. They are understaffed so be ready to be patient.

I know these ladies in the office deal with a lot of people through out the day, but they do not communicate clearly what you need in order to get things done. They send you 10 different places and still, and still something is wrong/ missing instead of clearly communicating the first time. The lady I spoke to was snarky & had a bad attitude, when I just simply didn’t know what I needed to do. Not very helpful or kind.

They try to not get driving license to international students. If you are an international student try another place. They made to go back and forth there for 11 times and I still don’t get the license while I have passed the test successfully.

The driver exam giver I got was very patient and understanding when I took the road test. I was so nervous I thought I was going to vomit, but she let me wait a few minutes before starting. Didn't yell at me for making a small mistake like the Republic office. Finally passed here, too, and I think the exam giver not being rude was a plus. I wish I could remember her name, but she was, I think, blonde and I took the test around 3: 30 on July 30th. Whoever you are, thank you!
