I took my family here for NYE! Compared to the other drury by the donut place, this one is a little out dated. I didn't mind the elevator in front being out. The other elevator stopped at every floor as it went down.minor annoyance. Maybe that one needs to be checked out too. Everything was clean and the complimentary food was yummy. The children loved the swimming pool and hot tub. The staff as a whole was very friendly and helpful.

We've been coming here every Christmas but 2020 to visit family for a decade and a half. Dec 2022 is the worst we have ever seen, worse than when they were renovating, worse than just before renovations, worse than the year the Merrimac River flooded and we barely made it out before the hotel was surrounded. It's going to literal pieces. And I'm not just talking the run down feeling of the carpets and lighting, I mean the building is falling apart.

First they closed the dinning room because it was too cold, so they opened a meeting room with seating for 24. At Christmas time. Then a pipe burst and the bathroom and water fountains were shut down for days. Then the main elevator broke. It's going to be weeks to fix.and my parents- on the 7th floor- are handicapped, so while my teens were fine with using the stairs all the time, we spent 20 minutes waiting for the only "working" elevator some mornings. Which is a problem when they're running out of breakfast foods at 8: 10.
We only did the kickback one night because they stopped putting out food at 6: 30 - it was gone by 6: 40 (so much for 5: 30-7.) - and the soda machine had broken down.

If you had asked me 3 years ago, I would have said its totally worth the higher prices despite the bad hwy traffic noise: the employees are nice and helpful, the location is safe and convenient, wifi works (but unsecured), and the rooms are decently sized. But I can't recommend this location until they have done some MAJOR maintenance work at this point.

Great stay.
I brought my two doggos with me and it wasn’t an issue at all - however I’m knocking a star for the insane pricing you have to pay for EACH dog for EACH night. It essentially comes out to just a little less than purchasing a room for your dog by him/herself, lmao. But whatever.

The breakfast got repetitive after a few days, but it was still really good and filling. And included with your stay - so you can’t go wrong.
Dinner at night was decent, and the 3 drink minimum was pretty awesome.
The hotel is at a GREAT location - being so close to the highway/major roadways to travel to the gems of STL.
The staff were all very friendly and courteous.
The pool was super nice and pretty cool you could swim underneath to the other side. (In winter, children will rarely bother you doing laps outside:) )

My room did seem to have a minor lady-bug/fly infestation (that word feels loaded, they weren’t crawling EVERYWHERE, but there was a decent amount.), but it didn’t bother me. None of them crawled near/on me or my stuff.

All in all, I would stay here again.
My only comment is that I feel the prices could be reduced a LITTLE. But I also don’t know sh*t about hotels, so ‍️.

I’d come back in the future - even when I live in STL again as a mini-staycation.

First time staying here, and I would stay again if back in the area. Friendly staff, clean rooms, dinner, drinks and breakfast. What else can you ask for?

I would definitely stay at this hotel again! Staff was friendly, courteous and wanting to help at any time! The rooms were clean and the beds were comfortable. The full breakfast options and evening drinks and food are well worth the value of the room.

They accommodated those eating by opening the meeting room because the eating area was too cold. They're always looking out for their guests.

This hotel constantly over charges my credit card. Even worse, they constantly lie about it, even though it’s on my bank statement.
They lie about there procedures, or they simply do not know there own procedures.
This hotel chain LIKES TO PUNISH anyone that questions them!
JD Powers award. For FRAUD!

Loved staying here! There's a whirl pool and heated indoor/ outdoor pool. Everyone that works here goes out of their way to be friendly and cheerful. And there's a phenomenal free breakfast, dinner, and three free alcoholic drinks a night for the adults. Soda is also free all day.

Rooms are average but beds are comfortable. Rooms are mostly clean however they definitely need the rugs to be professionally shampooed. Lots of suspicious stains from spilled drinks etc. Had to switch rooms due to an odor from the AC unit and stains on floor. New room carpet was just as bad. Would be a great place to stay if this was corrected.

Staff was super nice and helpful and they were very welcoming. Rooms are spacious and have what you need to be comfortable. Bathrooms are nice as well.

We discovered Drury/Pear Tree about 3 years ago after moving to the state and from the first stay, we were committed! This was our first time at this location, we were in town for some appointments my son had at the children's hospital and once again, everything was amazing. Staff was so kind and welcoming. This was our first time taking advantage of the breakfast, great selection and my 5 year old fell in love with the waffles. Of course the 5: 30 kickback is something we are beyond grateful for, we are a family of 6 so it helps us cut down on spending to eat out every night. I do need to know what mattresses you have here, best nights sleep I've had in a long time!

Clean comfortable room. Quick check in. Surprisingly good evening snacks which was our dinner. Tonight choices included salad greens, baked potato, pasta in a white sauce, grilled chicken strips, hotdog, roasted veggies, chili, corn chips.
Great breakfast choices too; eggs, sausage, potatoes, biscuits and gravy, waffle maker, yogurt, cereal
Room faced highway and was noisy. You might ask for a room opposite side of the highway.
Friendly staff. Plenty of parking.

Aff got us settled in and there were free cookies in the lobby. I took advantage of the fitness room downstairs which was great considering we’d be travelling all day.

Friendly staff, thoughtful, & helpful. The women in dining room, where breakfast was served couldn't have been nicer or friendly.

Great stay rooms are updated, clean and welcoming. Guests services were great from the free happy hour drinks and food to the employees. I always stay at Drury inns.

This was our first time staying at a Drury Inn and we will definitely be staying at more of these after this experience. The staff have been friendly, informative, and accommodating. The pool is very nice and that was part of why I booked a room here. The fact that it goes from indoors to out is so nice. The breakfast that is included is good. The three free drinks per night is really nice and the snacks you get is a good meal by any standard. If that is not enough directly across the road is a really good BBQ restaurant.

Staff was absolutely wonderful, cleanest room I've had at a hotel in a good while. They included breakfast and a decent dinner that saved us after a long day. Easy access to I-44, which means your can get just about anywhere. Seriously though, the staff, always friendly, always polite, it made us all feel welcome! Would definitely stay here again.

I stayed here along with about 35 others because we were in town working the Cardinals vs. Cubs game. We came by on the way to check our luggage in. Check in was not as quick as it should have been making us late and people were bothered when it was actually the hotels fault. However, it was quickly resolved and the desk attendant let us know that this was her fault and got us checked in and on our way. The hotel was clean and quiet but no trash bags in the trash cans which was odd. There was free breakfast and dinner as well as three adult drinks during dinner time. I don't normally drink but I do like bloody marys and the lady making drinks made it exceptionally well. She was then there again the next morning making breakfast. She checked on customers and was cleaning off tables or bringing out breakfast the entire time. Hotel staff that was interacted with were very polite. I see why they have been in the lead for 16 years!

Place is really friendly. Includes 3 free drinks per night and breakfast! Asked if we could have a little later checkout and the lady let us no problem. Will continue to stay with Drury Inn for sure.

This is a solid hotel choice for trips to St Louis. Good service, breakfast and 5 o'clock kickback make the price a great value, rooms are clean, and pool is indoor/outdoor with a hot tub. Great location for hitting up Six Flags but still being close to the city. Dining options within walking distance.
