Owners were friendly. Got us in last minute when I realized I made a mistake with our original reservation for Truman Family Weekend. Close to the highway but a good price has level spots and good showers. Do not follow Google directions to enter. It is easier if you continue down the (divided) highway and turn south to enter from the larger driveway.

We ended up here last minute because a site we had reserved over 4th of July weekend at another spot was so unlevel we couldn't use it. We were fortunate they had room for us and took us so last minute over a holiday weekend. Everyone seemed nice!

The park is nothing fancy - no frills, everything is pretty old, and the sites don't have extras like picnic tables or fire pits. However, everything seemed pretty clean, the site was level and easy to set up at, and the rates were reasonable. This is right on the highway though, so it did take a bit to get used to the lights from passing vehicles and the noise, but it wasn't as bad as I thought it would be. The shower/laundry area was like walking into yesteryear with an old soda machine, puzzles on the walls and bathrooms reminiscent of my old high school. I enjoyed it, but if you want modern, upgraded amenities, this isn't the place for you. If you want a place to park your camper with little fuss and don't mind the quirks, this place is perfect.

Very unkept, owners dog was not on a leash and attacked our small dog that was on a leash tearing his collar off and bit him in the back piercing the skin. Owner walked over and said thats why we require pets to be on a leash. Told him ours was until his tore it off as we were holding it after picking it up. His response was oh. Low end site, nothing like the pictures in there add

The owners are very friendly and live onsite, and prices are super reasonable. Never had any issues with any of the other campers, facilities are fine in quality (heated bath house with laundry area and couch) and kept clean. Tent camping area is nicely wooded, very convenient access right off the highway.

Owners are two faced. Made me feel unwelcomed due to my pitbull puppy. Screamed at me for my dog getting out once by mistake but dogs run around without leashes all the time and owners dont clean up after them. Then scream at me for not cleaning up after my dog when i not only clean up after mine but other dogs as well. No space between Rv"s. They are within 2 to 3 feet of each other and the lot is one giant ice skaring rink and almost hit other vehichles trying to get my small compact car out. You are right next to a major highway and hear load traffic all night long.
