Service and food are great. The menu has been updated and some new options are available. I always feel welcome. Great place to bring the family.

We went during lunch it wasn't too busy we actually were probably the third one in line at 11: 00. Lunch was good seems like the servers are rushing us out we try to talk some business and stay a little longer there wasn't any lines there was a lot of tables available just seems like we're an inconvenience. Overall food was hot but average not a lot of flavor and portion size were okay.

The service was terrible they tried to steal my friends phone out of her hand and they were incredibly rude.

No flavor Staff is there not really pleasant. Prices are typical Portions are decent if you don't mind your food having no flavor.

El Espolon is a great place to get good Mexican food. Fresh hot tostadas, good sauces, some items may be substituted according to preferences, great service, and atmosphere make it an enjoyable experience. They have parking in front or in the rear of the establishment for those visiting, if the front lot is full, swing around to the rear entrance in Gerbes' parking lot. High chairs and booster seats are available, and there's plenty of seating.

Beware, on Mexican holidays like Cinco de Mayo, they get VERY busy and the place will be packed to the gills. They do have beer and believe wine selections, and serve margaritas, of course. They also have entrees for large and small appetites, a good lunch menu, and friendly servers. They have always taken good care of us!

Best mexican restaurant in JC. The employees are awesome. We go here frequently and they all say hi to us even if they arent our waiter. I appreciate how friendly and personable they are!

My husband is from Mexico and this is one of our favorite restaurants (we go weekly). Best priced, AND good service. BEST fajitas we have ever tried. I recommend that and we have been to 100's of restaurants across the US. The restaurants itself is also very clean and pretty. Highy recommended trying this place out!
