Best place in town to eat hands down. Food is always amazing, fast and friendly servers and the price is mind blowing with the amount of food. You will not go home hungry. If so you ordered off the kid menu or need a doctor investigation.

I have had only great experiences at this location. The service is outstanding: fast, friendly, and responsive. The food is good. Always hot and fresh. Their menu offers a larger than average selection of options, with a wide variety of meal choices. Also has vegan options on the menu. Only great dining experiences here. Go visit them!

Food was nasty and cold waiter was rude as hell and they didn't refund all of my food which I only to took one small bite out of

Food was some what okay, but I've definitely had better Mexican food elsewhere. Was also way more pricey than other restaurants of the same type. Food portions were also a little smaller than the competition. Food that we ordered was all quite cold and aside from the shrimp soup which is quite filling and had a food flavor the rest was quite bland. I guess I was expecting a better experience but at least I tried it. Others can see if it suits their tastes.

I like there food and been a repeat customer since they open there first restaurant in st joe at there north belt location. First time eating at this location and I was pleased with my visit (visited @2: 30p on wedesday)

The food was decent until I found a hair in the food. It was in the salsa. I told the waiter. He said in an insincere tone "sorry. " We told the cashier the same and he said in a little less insincere tone than the waiter, "Oh, sorry guys. " That was it!

Waiting for server he passed the table several times in a unbusy restaurant. Waiting 10 min for order to be taken, or even get a drink. No refill, never checked on us had to flag other server for help. Won't be back

You have to give a star to give a review. They would get negative stars if I could. I was rushed to order the waiter basically yelled at me. Food was OLD! Asked for the manager he said that's how it was made. Couldn't understand English well enough to bring our food out and it be the right order to the right table. Needless to say I will not be going back!

Was just there with my family and the waiter was so rude. I placed my ID on my husband's menu and the guy threw it back at me real hard. Makes me feel so sad. Because I really did love this place. RUDE service will never go back

If you don't already realize this, El Maguey is amazing. Steak Jalisco 10/10. Pollo Cancun 10/10. El Toreado Burrito 10/10. So many things that I love to eat. Plus the food arrives at your table faster than anywhere else in town. It's actually impressive.

A nice little taste of Mexico. The food has always tasted good, and the drinks as well. Moderately priced and a nice atmosphere.

The most horrible experience tonight with a good sized party. The one we usually choose to go to because of better service. Management was not helpful at all and food was so messed up. We will not be back to this location.

Food wasnt fresh. The tortilla was hard and cold and their manager refused to make me a frssh one. Worse experience i ever had anywhere. Will not spend my money here again.

They really don’t know how to cook a steak. Ordered medium rare and instead I got medium well with an exaggerated amount of grilled onions on top. Not to mention that it was a little tough. The menu says it’s ribeye but it doesn’t look like it’s a ribeye steak. I do not recommend this place.

The absolute worst service. The waiter made us feel like we were an inconvenience. Was short, rolled his eyes when we asked for anything. It was my son's birthday dinner, we had a party of 7 and only 3 other tables with guests. The food was terrible. We waited 15 minutes for our ticket and finally had to go get it ourselves. Would not recommend nor eat here again.

I've loved this restaurant for years! Their food is cooked to order, tastes amazing, and is fairly inexpensive. I recommend El Maguey's to anyone wanting Mexican for lunch or dinner.

Food was ok. Service was Great. I'm used to having spicier food. We asked for a large cheese and the bowl it came in was twice what most restaurants serve. Will probably go back again and try something else.

My friend took me there with my family for the first time and I fell in love with it whent back four days later and it was just as good as the first time

My family and I go in alot. Always get fantastic customer service. Everything we have ever ordered is absolutely delicious. Highly recommend

Not very good, building ceilings where water damaged, bathroom was bad.
The Platt city and excelsior locations are the complete opposite.
