Manny went above and beyond to give us a good experience AND we watched him give the same to the elderly party next to us. He also made the Margaritas beautifully. Also, perfectly cooked carnitas and chorizo on my tacos

Absolutely amazing food for a good price! Will definitely be back. I ordered the papas local without jalapeños and sour cream and it was amazing!

Always enjoy bringing the family here. The food, service and drinks are always consistent and good. 2 adult meals, 2 kid meals and a couple medium margs for ~$66 before tip.

Was craving tacos and decided to stop in since it was the closest taco place. The tacos— omg. The portions were HUGE! Before I ordered I was worried they wouldn’t be enough to fill me up (many places are like that) but I was wrong! I even needed a box lol my only complaint about the tacos was I would have liked corn tortillas (not sure if they have corn tortillas but I wasn’t offered or asked what toppings I wanted) We went on a Thursday afternoon and it wasn’t busy at all (1-2 other tables there). The restaurant was clean, service was attentive and food came out fast and fresh!

My husband's favorite Mexican restaurant. Always fast friendly service the restaurant is clean but the building/stripmall is aging and could use a facelift. The food and Margaritas are consistently good and flavorful. Not fancy, just tasty.

Have tried a little of everything here and have been going to this location for years. It never disappoints. I have found that my most frequent go to meal is the Pollo feliz. It is amazing!

I had a fantastic meal at El Maguey on North Oak Trafficway. The restaurant is cozy, clean and inviting, with a friendly staff and a great atmosphere. The food is authentic, fresh and delicious, with generous portions and reasonable prices. I ordered the tacos, which were tender, juicy and flavorful. The salsa was spicy and tasty, and the chips were warm and crispy. The service was fast and attentive, and the drinks were cold and refreshing. El Maguey is one of my favorite places to eat Mexican food in Kansas City. I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a satisfying meal in a casual setting.

Best Mexican Food I’ve ever had. From the chips to the salsa to the burrito (and don’t forget the queso) everything was absolutely phenomenal. If I wasn’t from out of state, I’d eat here every single week.

I’ve ordered for pickup twice and each order was fresh, hot, and delicious. They get the food ready quickly & you get a good value for your money. My last order was the which has nachos, a tamale, and two taquitos. I’ve never had anything like it and I loved it! What really stood out is how clean and neat the inside of the restaurant is. I feel very comfortable eating from here. That alone made it a pleasant atmosphere and one day, I plan to stop in and try the margaritas.

For being a chain Mexican restaurant, it's good! Their menu has a lot of options to choose from. I recommend the Burrito Arrandas. I always try to save some for leftovers, but end up eating it all.

This location has great, speedy service. Though, we always order cheese dip, but they never remember to bring it. We never get charged for it, so that's fine.

Absolutely disappointed in my experience tonight, used to love coming here but tonight the waiter was not very friendly and then there was hair in our food, by the time the waiter came back to us our appetite was gone and he didn’t even thing to ask if everything was ok while seeing nearly untouched plates
