El Mercado Fresco reviews
14This is one of the best Hispanic grocery markets I have been to it is very clean well-stocked and if you ask questions they help you out both speak English and Spanish
Straight up Mexican Grocery store. A little over priced but most mom and pop type Grocery stores are.
Here I can buy many products from Mexico and Central America, I feel at home.enjoying delicious foods.
A little crowded on space. I get that they are trying to sell a big variety in asmall space, great selection of meat, and Mexican bread.
A taste of Mexico in Kansas City, staff are knowledgeable and friendly, ready to assist your shopping needs. The fresh butcher station and deli are well stocked.
I love this place. Fresh food, helpful staff, and the other customers are super nice! They had things I didn't know I needed. The prices are fantastic too! If you don't try this place, then it's your loss on so many levels.
Good service and variety of products.
Only one serious inconvenience, the last visits to the butcher shop, the employees when weighing the meat, put prices of other more expensive meats, and that is something very unpleasant.
They need to remove bad fruits and vegetables daily.
Good service and variety on products but a disappointing inconvenience lately at butchery, employees weighing meats they price label wrong expensive meats.
And produces needs to remove bad ones daily.
The cashier is very terrible, she has small glasses, she is very pedantic with my wife and me, and the rest are very friendly, the place is very suitable, everything is very good
This is a ok grocery… I wish the would include English on their bakery since they have a lot of English speaking customers… one gem I can give you is make real sure you check the date on the meat because I have ran into bad meat and they act as though they have no idea what you talking about.but other than that I like the store…
I absolutely love this grocery store! I go here fairly often as it's close to my home. So many great products that you can't find at Price Chopper! Love the authentic salsas and fresh guacamole too! I'm super excited to order my next birthday cake from there too.
Management and workers are always friendly and helpful. The vegetables are always beautiful. Great service!
Don't buy much there, but what I do is high quality and not short on quantity. Fresh fruits and vegetables as you walk in the door. Meat section isn't like most grocery stores these days of "this is what we have.take it or leave it". Most is right there for you to pick and choose quantities. I don't need 5 leg quarters when 2 will suffice. The pre-marinaded meat is awesome
Kind of a junky looking store outside with older equipment inside. It's no Price Chopper or Aldis. It has a butcher shop but I question the cleanliness of it. Bakery items look good too, but people can reach right into bins themselves without gloves, so I question that practice too. It is not really a local chain, which is not a bad thing of itself, I just worry about health standards being up to code and customer expectations. A cleaner brighter store would attract more customers too. I would buy some things there but with unfamiliar brands, it would not be my "go to" unless many changes were made.
I haven't been there yet but I know I will feel like I'm in Mexico, something special.
