El poblano Grill & Cantina reviews
14Yes! One of the best Mexican restaurants in Springfield. Chips and salsa awesome. (Mix the pico and the hot sauce with the house salsa and perfection). Chips are so good, add salt. Margaritas are good. Al pastor tacos are legit amazing. Just order them. I'm coming back again and again. Maybe every Saturday for the rest of my life.
9 of us, 1 for dessert it was sent back. 1 kid hamburger plate, fries had to be replaced. Seems they were double fried, way to hard to eat. 1 taco plate, asada was dry and like splintered. 1 fajita plate, meat dry and burnt. Quesadilla plate? 2nd quesadilla plate, dry hard chicken. 1 only had ice water, excellent. 1 for cocktails, excellent. Final order was a Molcajette. $21.99, for chicken and steak. Asada cut with the grain, it was dried over cooked. More like a thick chunk of jerky. I couldn’t eat, chicken was also dried. This was a Thursday, around 7: 30. Took about an hour for food. It came out at different times. Waitress didn’t want to be there, it was obvious. My first and last time going there. Go to Jose Locos. 1 more thing, chips, salsa, and guacamole amazing
San pandro tacos hands down is the the best dish for me, the authentic taste your looking for in Hispanic cuisine!
If I could I would rate 0 stars. Ordered through ubereats and did not receive my tortillas. They hung up on me when trying to resolve it and then claimed no manager on duty.sounds like a bunch of lazy people there.
My aunties and I come here every year for my birthday dinner. It's our absolute favorite place to eat. Their pork fajitas are the best! The atmosphere is relaxed and light. It's not so loud you can't have a conversation with the person across from you, but not so quiet that everyone else hears your conversation as well. The staff are friendly, helpful and always makes sure your drinks are full, empty dishes removed and that you're happy. The decor is festive and fun. They once even took a hat off the wall for my baby cousin to play with because he wouldn't stop staring at it. I would highly recommend El Pablano to anyone for any occasion.including business lunches and dinners.
Small portions of food, chips were crumbled, very little meat in enchiladas. Good drinks though.
Service was horrible, new server was overloaded with his section and got no help, he didn't know what beer I was asking for so he didn't put it in or ask me what it was, all our food come out separately and cold, plates were hot tho, will not be back
Al pastor tacos were delicious! Service was top-notch. Prices were reasonable. Salsa was incredible! Serving sizes.we had to get to-go boxes.
If ordering delivery be aware your order does not come as pictured. Make sure you order your beans and rice and everything else you want on your plate. Was delicious just not everything I was expecting
Food was awesome, nice music and very clean. Javier did a fantastic job taking Care of us he was attentive, polite, and fun!
Cheese dip is fantastic! Our waitress Lynn did an awesome job taking care of us, and it's a great environment!
The service and the atmosphere were good. The food while tasty was nothing special and certainly not worth the prices they were charging
Little pricey for a strip mall restaurant in my opinion. But food was good and if you had water and stuck to lunch specials you could stay around 11 bucks for lunch. If you went off the lunch specials though you doubled that.
The food was good. However it didn't have anything specific to make it better or worse than any other Mexican in Springfield. Don't get me wrong good but nothing special. Wasn't a whole bunch of meat in my California burrito. The salsa was good but chips were cold. Just an average place.
