EL Ranchero Mexican Restaurant reviews
17 Everything we've had here has been delicious, a cut above the typical strip mall mexican restaurant.
Portions are very generous.
Was immediately one of our favorites!
Excellent food and service. Portions are plentifuland the salsa for the chips was very tasty.
Came here for the first time to try somewhere new, the lady who sat us was not the friendliest. Our server was nice thank goodness. I ordered a tamale and a cheese quesadilla, we ordered a kids taco for my son, and for my husband the super pico. The food was came out quickly but it was just average tasting, nothing special. It was difficult for us to eat because it was swelteringly hot in the restaurant despite fans being on. My husband was literally sweating and my son and I were red in the face from how toasty it was.
Fast service, warm fresh food, cold large drinks and fresh warm chips with cool salsa, all less in 10 minutes, waiter was a champ as well. 10/10
My family of 6 and I went an hour before closing of the restaurant and we asked if it was ok for us to sit and eat still because they were cleaning the floors already but they sat us and said we still had time. They brought us out chips and salsa and a few minutes later they had a younger guy come and tell us that we shouldn’t have been sat because they had already turned off the grill and they didn’t have anyone willing to take out order. There was clearly at least 4 servers! How do you turn everything off an hour before close!? Very disappointing and not the way to run a business! Not one apology from anyone and they wouldn’t even look at Us!
It's ok, really nice staff but food is a bit bland and the margaritas are not good in taste or alcoholic content.
We got the chimichanga and the enchiladas Guanajuato, and they were delicious. Fast, courteous service, and affordable.
The food was about below average for Mexican. My steak fajitas were clearly not freshly cooked and my wife, who is the furthest thing from Mexican, makes much better enchiladas. Service was very poor. Our waitress seemed annoyed to take our order and was rude/abrubt. Didnt recieve multiple sides we asked for. Two tables next to us actually got up and left because they waited over 20 minutes after ordering and still didn't have drinks, and it didn't seem to be a particularly busy night. The overall atmosphere is pretty weird, not that it really matters. What was annoying was the harsh white flickering lights above our table. Overall pretty disappointed we went there and definitely will not go again.
We enjoyed our lunch here! The food was fresh and fast, the servers were friendly, and it was a very clean and pleasant.
The food was delicious. First time eating there. Definitely will go back to try other things.
Been 25 + times since I live close. It's ok but when I feel like I want something special I drive to Tapatio Mexican Grill
Vast menu options and good prices. Was visiting from out of town but when I return I can say that I will eat here again.
Muy bueno!
We stopped there on our way home from Blue Springs. The food portions are satisfying and delicious. The salsa and chips were great, and tacos, enchiladas, burritos and fajitas (we have a big family) were all superb. Service was friendly and quick, and regular came before we needed them. I would highly recommend this place to anyone who loves Mexican food and who is in the area
Very good Hot Sauce and chips. Served by very cordial staff and food was very good, Hot, fresh. Will be returning in the future.
I ordered 2 lunch fajitas and they gave me only one. Then when I tried to get it remedied they told me that the 1 order with meat is two. There was three shrimp in the mix. Then they didn't want to fix it. You only get to screw me once. I do not recommend eating here they are crooks! Go to Casa Mexico they take care of you and will fix their screw ups.
The food was very flavorless, not authentic at all the complimentary salsa was horrible no flavor at all.the reason there getting a 2 is because waitress was really nice
