El Ranchito Mexican Restaurant reviews
17A disgrace to all Mexican food small portions very cheap and gross go to el tapito I wish I did
This is our favorite Mexican restaurant. We’re from St. Louis and it’s better than anything around us - we get soooo excited to come here when we’re passing through! The food is fabulous and always comes out piping hot. The salsa is great, margaritas great, good prices, friendly, fast service. Bonus - My small children even gobble up their food and compliment it the whole time. We come here any chance we get and it’s such a treat for the whole family.
This place is like being at home comfortably while dining out. HOME AWAY FROM HOME with great food and wonderful staff.
My weekly visit for lunch today just as I’ve done for 20+ years. The food is always terrific and the staff is friendly and attentive and always give top notch service. If you want great food in a fun and friendly atmosphere, go to El Ranchito!
Good looking wife's Cameron's and my burrito Grande we're excellent. Somewhat surly wait staff contributed to the fifth star not being tapped.
If your going to Union for Food this is one of the Best Mexican restaurants I have ever been too. Exceptional service, Great food & drinks, low price! Good Job El Ranchito!
I've been coming in for a long time now and tonight was just a disappointment. They overcooked the chicken chimichanga to the point where the chicken was dry and when we brought it to the attention of the waiter he questioned our judgment. He said we should expect the chicken to be dry because the chicken was precooked and then it was deep fried again. Now I'm no cook, but I would think that all of that should be taken into consideration before the meal is brought out to the customer. I am not happy with the way the waiter tried to make us feel like we didn't know what we wanted. I hope things get better but in the meantime I will dine elsewhere.
Excellent people our car wouldn't start and we came in and they offered us waters and everything amazing food aswell
Very good food, they remember your face and always stop to say hi and on top of drinks being filled
We love this place. Go here all the time. I great little place to go out to eat. Our family loves to go here. Also great for takeout if you don’t want to eat in. They are very quick and have great service. You know how some places have great soda? It just tastes so much better. They have great soda. It’s so good. Definitely recommend this place if you want a nice little dinner out. It’s usually pretty quiet and relaxing atmosphere.
Probably my favorite Mexican restaurant. I love the lunch specials, generous portions, few bucks cheaper than the already decent prices, chicken chimichanga is my favorite! And great service too!
Food was just okay. Friendly service from Jesse, though! He was nice. I ordered the enchiladas, I have never ordered enchiladas that didn’t come with rice and beans? Tortillas were hard and not soft probably from the microwave. I had to order those and pay for both separately…SMH!
I haven't been here since 2017 and omg! The Pollo chicken is better than i remember! And Jesse our server was fabulous as always!
Chips tasted like store bought my dinner was very cold and the beans tasted like something you would get in prison. Last the jumbo Margarita tasted like it had no alcohol in it.
Will never go here again
Best Mexican around. My girl and I are in there at least once a week! Food is amazing and the workers are so friendly
Best Mexican food in town and here's why:
The salsa is perfectly blended, not too much salt, not too much cilantro. The chips are served warmed and they keep 'em coming. The chicken is cooked to perfection and the steak is tender. Anything served in a deep fried wrap is always crisp and never soggy. The vegetables are cooked to tender-crisp, never overdone! The flavors are created using seasonings, not just an abundance of salt. And the staff is accommodating. Also, the menu is reasonably priced.
