El Tapatio of Farmington

I wasn't in a good mood cause I can't eat any spicy food and I thought that's all they had. But I was wrong. I had a grilled fish and it was awesome! If I'd known it would have been that good I'd had bought another fish. The server was really nice and helpful. I will go there kn future just 2 get the fish.

The food was good and it was served quickly. My only complaint is that they had everyone sit on one side of the restaurant and so everyone was kinda crammed in one spot. (This was during the Covid-19 years)

This was, by far, the best food ever! I was very pleased the service was great, the food was awesome, and the price was economical! If I ever get back there I will definitely be stopping to eat!

Our group decided to have lunch at El Tapatio in Farmington Missouri. We went on a Sunday and was expecting the place to be very busy because of
the ”church” crowd. We were pleasantly surprised when we were seated immediately.
I have only visited this place two times. The food is just ok, mediocre. Both times I have been here strangely enough had the same waiter both times. This guy is always in such a hurry I feel rushed when he’s standing at the table to take our order. When we ask for refills on the drinks, (which I had to do as he was running by the table) he said just a minute, and he did come back 15 minutes later with our refills.

If you’re looking for Mexican food that tastes like all other Mexican restaurants in small towns across America, this place will give you what you’re looking for.

Started off the experience with a cockroach falling out of the stack of menus onto the table. Then the drinks came out wrong. My steak was undercooked and they literally did not have any condiments what so ever, no A1, ketchup, nothing. Was served our food without silverware and sat and stared at the food for 15 minutes before the silverware was delivered. To top it all off, the waiter had an attitude the whole time and it was the worst experience I have ever had in my whole life at a restaurant.

We went there last night and had amazing service as always. The food was out so fast I was amazed. Great food and super friendly service.

Really enjoyed this place. Although the parking lot was full, we were seated immediately. I was unable to finish the Aztec burrito.

We enjoyed our meal, as always. Our chunky guac was nicely flavored with a bit of "hot" (but not a lot"), and our shared molcajete was plenty for the two of us. We recommend the same meal!)

Great, great food! Amazing! Loved it! The waiter was absolutely the best! Would definitely go again and again! Great customer service!

Got there 5 minutes before the door unlocked and was the first to enter. The parking lot filled up quickly, as well as the inside. Since was the first to enter, was the first to place order. Very friendly service and quick as well. Was very well attended and was approached numerous times for refills and to make sure everything was good. Definitely recommend this place; but make sure you get there early for seating or you may have to wait a bit.

I have been eating at El Tap since their old location opened. It is mine and my wife's go to restaurant in Farmington. The food is always great and the staff is the best around.

The best Mexican in Farmington hands down! Great food. Good customer service. If something is wrong they fix it right away for you.

I love this restaurant! The waiters are willing to explain the menu patiently. The atmosphere always feels friendly and comforting. Please bring your friends and family here!

This place is absolutely wonderful to eat at Even if you do like eating Mexican styled food or don't we're don't they have a variety is it and a very large variety at that I like eating at this place very much Because the dishes are very large a large and for us and adults the alcoholic beverages they have here are just right, you know what I mean.

Outstanding food. The waitor was hilarious. Great day after work for my birthday dinner. With a group of work friends.

While visiting Farmington we gave it a try. So glad we did! Excellent service, good food. I would recommend something that comes in a stone bowl for sure!
