Staff are always on the feet moving, cleaning, serving and refilling something. Prices are comparable in the current market. Did I mention the staff are friendly and always serving.

Another suggestion from our realtor for lunch. Overpriced, dark and dingy there.food was ok.nothing special but overpriced.

I didn't know what it was but our realtor ordered it so I did the same since she's had it beforeand said it's delicious. I should have known better since she has the appetite of two large men.and one meal was truly enough for three people. It comes in an iron cauldron filled with chicken and steak, and a very healthy portion of cheese, and veggies including cactus, in an amazing sauce. Molcajete Ranchero

The worst food i have ate in years, thd salsa taste like ketchup with spices added, the burritos loom like canned dog food inside for beef, the cheese is in huge clumps inside and looks spoiled and not even cooked. Thank goodness they serve on super hot plates so food gets somewhat cooked. Will never return.

Hair in fajtas. Server never checked on us. My enchilada was bland but I ate it. Margaritas were gross. Had to get my own Togo box and walk up to front without Bill. Overall it wasn't a great experience. They took off the one Margarita that my boyfriend could not choke down. I don't complain and usually give high ratings. We will not be going back.

Good food and they have wonderfull staff. We were a party of 10 and they took great care of us.

This is a little out of the way with surprisingly authentic Mexican food. We will go back!

You got to have the Molcajete dish, I know the locals like the cheesy sauce on everything, but me, I like the most authentic Mexican dish. And this dish is the closest and it's is delicious. 20 stars

Their food is delicious no doubt. BUT be careful ordering from the online menu. They now charge nearly double of what it states online. When ever this was brought to their attention they didn't speak English. Go figure! But honestly the items we ordered was good. Was just blind sided by the cost!

Great food great people! We came in 25 mins before closing and it felt like we where royalty!

We reserved with this restaurant on Saturday afternoon. We had nearly 40 people following a graveside service and we were taken care of very well. Comments from everyone included this place was perfect and the food was very good. Service was exceptional. Some of the folks were local and many from out of town. This is a restaurant to support. Truly a jewel of Ava, MO.

The food is great! Service is good. They are pretty quick about getting your drinks, order, and bringing your food out. I feel like they add extra charges at the end though.

Their chicken fajitas were seasoned really well, but the sour cream had a nasty texture.
The cheese quesadilla overflowed with cojita  cheese. I really enjoyed the peach margarita too. However, the chips and salsa are sub-par. The day I was there, the salsa tasted almost like marinara.
I was sad to see so few tables filled with customers, but it was early afternoon. There are two Mexican restaurants in Ava, and this is definitely the one to go to.
