The staff at Elm Dental are amazing. They are all very friendly and I just love Kayla. Dr. Leuchtmann was very nice and I look forward to future visits here.

I tried to edit my comment but couldn't, I was in alot of pain from dry socket, and continually was trying to deny it and put off going in, and I called and explained, They got me in quickly, explained why I was having pain, and also emphasized. I was not blown off or treated as a crazy neurotic woman. Kim, the staff and the dentist was very understanding and friendly and I appreciate this dentist and staff, He isn't cruel at all, Extraction definitely can go wrong, the practice couldn't be any better. They are thorough and professional. I'd take my grandchildren and nieces and nephews to him.

My 4 year old is loving this place. They gave her a little gift to make her comfortable and her hygienist was wonderful!

The doctor and his staff always work great together but additionally they are working hard to make the office safe during the pandemic. As a senior I appreciate their effort. Please continue to look for more ways to all your clients safe. Thank you!

I never comment but the dentist is cruel I had my tooth pulled it's hurting so bad. His assistant is great very bubbly great staff, but a mean man. I really hate to wine over pain medication, I thought codeine would help but it really calls for a pain block, but, I don't think it's a bad thing if they pull a tooth out, to prescribe it, im miserable, I hate to be subjected this type of treatment but I can handle it, although I can't I can't wait til this too passes.seems unfair inhumane cruelty. Id recommend for any other service though.

I've come back to amend my review from a one star to three star after gathering more information. Although it was unprofessional that I was pressured into filing down the enamel on my tooth (and also unhelpful to the structural integrity of a tooth already experiencing problems), the overall reality is that for whatever reason, the composite filling failed and I had to move to a root canal. The fracture and failed filling could have been anything and that's why I am amending my review. It could easily be that the decay was too extensive and they couldn't see that on the x-ray. It could easily be that the filling was placed too quickly/roughly and fractured my tooth and damaged the nerve. It doesn't matter in the end as both roads lead to a root canal or extraction.

The periapical image showed pretty bad infection but I was told I didn't have an infection. Fortunately, they did write me a prescription. They referred me to Dr. Berg but based on his reviews I asked around until finding Dr. Sarich. She is helping to fix the cascade of issues. It's going to take several trips to her due to the extent of the damage and infection, but she thinks we might be able to save the tooth at this point.

The good news is, the second dentist who saw me after all this said he is willing to place a permanent composite filling for free to finish the restoration after the root canal. So hopefully this experience will be resolved by next month.

I LOVE this office. I've been going for years and have never had a bad experience. A few weeks ago I had a filling done and I was in and out in less than 30 minutes. They are always understanding and help with insurance questions. I've been seen by both Drs and have had Jamie and Jessica as my hygienists. The entire staff is knowledgeable and helpful with treatment options. They are a huge part of why I am persuing a career in the dentistry field!

Went for regular cleaning for the first time. Dental Hygienist Jamie Carmody was very friendly and very knowledgeable. Dr. Ryan Winchel was clear about the dental work I have to do, and offered me options. Right away the staff was looking with the insurance, and gave me a quote, which was reasonable and lower than my previous dentist.

I had veneers put in the front of my mouth for cosmetic purposes and they look fantastic. I go here twice a year and never have to wait more than 5 minutes to be seen. The staff is very polite and down to earth. I recommend this place to my friends and family.

Been coming here for years. Jessica is a great hygienist, always careful and thorough. And both dentists are nice and won’t recommend treatment unless you need it. Good quality dental care where they aren’t trying to rip you off!

The dentist is a place I am terrified of going to & although the staff was decently helpful with my fears my fear still came true. I had a pretty bad cavity in the very back of my mouth. I was told I would be receiving a temporary filling to help relieve my pain until covid-19 passes (which is understandable) but ever since I’ve been to elm point dental I have been in excruciating pain. I can not eat, drink, sleep or even talk without being in pain. I have taken all of the medicine recommended for post dental work & am still having to take 4-5 advil 3 times a day to help with my pain. Not only has my problem been left unsolved but I’ve experienced 10x as much pain as I was feeling before. Not sure what went wrong but clearly something wasn’t done right.

If you are looking for a new dentist check out Dr. Winschel and Jaime at Elm Dental Care! The atmosphere is laid back but you can tell that they know their stuff and love what they do!
I took a break from going to the dentist for a few years (DON’T RECOMMEND) so I had some ground to make up. Going to Elm Dental Care started out as a second opinion. Dr. Winschel and Jaime said basically they same things as the other dentist but they were able to back up what they told me with proof instead of just saying this is wrong and here is what we need to do. They also took pictures for insurance purposes and showed me. I learned stuff about my teeth that I had no idea before!
I also had the first appointment of the day both visits and when I walked in about 8 minutes before my appointment the ladies at the front desk were there and ready to help and that really impressed me.

If you like a hygienist who is condescending and treats you like someone who needs her and isn't respectful and caring, then Lauren is for you. I tried to be a new patient but wanted to see first if they were willing to listen to me as I have a dental implant and a bridge and wanted to discuss my dental history first. She nearly rolled her eyes at me. Her body language expressed disdain and impatience and she and the dentist were unwilling to show me that they could be compassionate and work with me so I left. The office manager is friendly, professional and pleasant by the way. She gave a good impression and it's too bad that she isn't part of the medical team. I'm used to being treated as a valuable customer because even though they are medical providers, they're still running a business and I have a choice which I will exercise to take my business elsewhere.

Edited to reply to your response. I am fully supportive of your adherence to the American Dental Association Standards of Care, but that doesn't change the fact that Lauren was unpleasant in her demeanor toward me. I stand my my assessment that you could have accomplished the same message in a professional and polite manner, and that only the office manager did, but belatedly.
