Elsberry IGA Foodliner reviews
11Not sure now it's under new owners n I haven't been in there yet.lol.lol I gotta check it out though.
MIGHT AS WELL CLOSE THIS PLACE, NO FOOD, BLACK SPOILED MEAT, INSANE PRICES - VERY VERY BAD
There wasn’t hardly any groceries in the store. Zero beef… What happened? I was up here 2 years ago and it was fine.
This place is a real joke! They said new owners and yet they haven't done a thing except tear it up and shelves and freezers are bare!
I went into IGA yesterday and the cashier Leo was very helpful and extremely nice he deserves a raise
Shopped at the Elsberry IGA for the first time a few days ago and was checked out by a young man named Leo. Super friendly, knowledgeable and helpful. Give that young man a raise.
The store is being run into the ground by the new ownership. Shelves are running empty along with no updates to the look of the store make for a poor shopping experience.
Update: 7.25.2023
It appears the store has new owners. They seem to be changing the layout of the store. They have added gaming machines. And they have a lot of different hard liquor. They have little groceries. Their shelves seem to be empty often. They definitely do not have the same atmosphere as the previous 2 owners have had. In the past, you felt the small town, family environment. Now. That feeling has gone away.
They have no public bathroom.
Customer service is mediocre.
The whole store environment has changed.
This is a local grocery store in a, somewhat, small town. It is priced accordingly for a small town grocery store. It is a clean and organized store. The people are friendly and helpful. They always show curtousy to me when I am in there. I have not ever seen any employee or management get out of sorts with anyone. They are always smiling. Even when they are busy. Downright hometown friendly.
No public restrooms though.
I love this place good and nice people everyone who goes there trys to help each other out when someone is short on money not all stores are like that theses days
Prices are high, but their high everywhere. The workers were very kind and helpful. The deli meat is delicious can't wait to try the chicken
