Having to stay at the location due to water main bust in my apartment downtown, front desk guy Chris was completely understanding, showed empathy, synthetic and helpful very customer friendly, happy hour and treats was a nice juster and service was very welcoming, breakfast was clean, lots of selections to choose from. However the front desk ladies in the morning checkout were rude, very condescending, belligerent, sarcastic & down right nasty no customer service nor listening to what questions may have had about the hotel situation, actually yelled at myself and other guest who needed simple answers and understanding.

Great location and relatively inexpensive for the rooms. Parking is valet only at $45 a day. Breakfast and drinks at happy hour were a nice plus.

We had a wonderful stay here. It is a great location, and our room was great. The breakfast line was long, but that was likely due to it being sold out the night we stayed. The pool and hot tub were decent and our kids enjoyed them. The employees were all very helpful and kind. They really made the stay. We will be back.

I stayed at the Hotel in early January for a weekend trip to St. Louis. The Hotel was filthy and the staff did not care and were dismissive. Carpets were not vacuumed (at least on the 2nd, 4, and 5th floor). There was no soap in the bathrooms near the eating area on the 4th floor. My room that I stayed in had broken furniture, was not vacuumed, toiletries left from previous guests. There were also a number of bugs in the room. Management explained that the bugs must have flown in from outside - a good excuse in summer or fall, but January? The bugs were living off of the filth in the hotel.

We complained and were moved to a new room, which was also filthy. We found some half eaten food in the new room. Management informed us that the room that were were staying in was going to be taken out of service as it was scheduled for a remodel, however, after we left, cleaning staff promptly turned over the room for the next guest.

In the food area, I observed kitchen staff picking food and eating it with their gloves on, and them going back to food prep.

When we told the front desk that some items in the pool area were not working, they responded "I would not swim in that pool. "

Management was so dismissive of our first complaint, why bother informing them of anything else as it was clear that they just did not care.

Room service was awful. Food was delivered cold. It was obvious that they forgot to deliver it, until we call and ask about the hold up.

Moving forward, I will be looking at other hotel brands.

I've attached photos of the bugs in the room and the filthy carpets.

After my stay, I reached out to Hilton and provided my issues to them in writing. Hilton did not take the time to respond.

I thought this was a great stay…service was excellent. I was upgraded without asking or being a previous guest. Also, the breakfast was phenomenal. I was only in town for a short stay but the hotel had a happy hour and was super close to the Cardinals stadium for in season travel and other entertainment/bar/restaurants. I would 10/10 stay here again…awesome staff, really enjoyed it!

Overall we had a very nice stay at this hotel. The pros: large rooms with high ceilings, comfortable beds, the cocktail reception, the breakfast and the staff. Cons: carpets and furniture are a little run down with a lot of stains and scuffs, there was a fair amount of traffic noise (our room faced Washington Ave) but that is not the fault of the hotel and it did not keep us up all night. Also it would be nice to have more updated charging options (the outlets in the base of the lamps were loose and our plug bases just fell out, would love to see some usb ports). We would stay here again and loved the BBQ restaurant around the corner!

My stay at Embassy Suites in downtown St. Louis was far from satisfactory. The area felt unsafe, the valet parking was excruciatingly slow in the morning, and the hotel operated a bait and switch scheme—quoting one rate upon booking, then charging significantly more at checkout. To make matters worse, the hotel's fourth-floor restaurant and bar were dirty and dated, with an agonizing wait for a drink, despite the presence of only one other guest. While Dylan, the manager, was polite, the overall experience fell short, and there are certainly better and more reasonably priced options in the area. There are many other hotels in the area where you can stay that are nicer and a better value.

Stayed here for 1 night to attend a game at Busch Stadium. Check in and valet were simple and quick. Staff was friendly and room was clean. Breakfast was very scattered and crowded, but overall happy. Would stay here again.

We had a great time here. Staff friendly and goes out of their way to make sure your stay is enjoyable. Breakfast included was great and happy hour provides free drinks (530pm to 730pm). Hotel is right downtown walking distance to the Arch or the ball park. We would gladly stay there again.

Amazing staff from the front desk and valet, to the breakfast. Also loved being downtown. But the rooms leave something to be desired and my bed was very uncomfortable.

This hotel is close to everything. Just three blocks from the Arch. The stadium is nearby. The casino is not far way. The breakfast us always exceptional here. Very friendly staff. Prepare to pay for PARKING $45 per night valet. Self parking is another challenge. This hotel also has a pool on the 5th floor. The building use to be a Dillard's.

I can't believe that Embassy Suites allows this hotel to exist. I love Embassy Suites, but this hotel is very different. For starters, I'd challenge anyone to find a clean surface in the whole place. It is old, dirty, and the staff members are rude. The pool is a health hazard. The liner is literally coming apart and due to the lack of ventilation there have to over chlorinate it. The water is disgusting. You will smell the chlorine as you eat breakfast. That is if you can actually get through the line! Don't worry the staff there will rudely yell, "Excuse me" the whole time your standing in line. This hotel is the worst.

This place was fine for 2 nights with my mom and 2 kids but not sure if I would stay again unless I specifically came to town for a Cardinals game since the stadium is a couple blocks away. This hotel is a converted department store. So the layout isn’t intuitive but it’s not horrible. Large hotel so be ready to walk down long hallways to get to your room. It’s time for them to replace some things like sofa and tables. Sofa was sunken in and tables had a lot of scuffs and chunks taken out. What I did appreciate though is the size of the room. Two queens were in a room of their own with a heavy door separating from the living area. I never heard neighbors. You can tell the walls and floors are massive and thick. My 8 year was jumping around and it was clear he was jumping on thick concrete, no sound or movement. Tall ceilings make the room feel even more spacious. Rooms could use some brightening up. Toilet is in the way of everything in the bathroom. Sink, microwave and fridge was appreciated. Two TVs in the room was great.

This hotel has free hot breakfast with plenty of food. Toast, oatmeal, waffles, omelets made to order, juice, potatoes, fresh fruit, sausage and bacon. Coffee is a little weak.

The only parking option is valet for $47 per night. Seems pricey but most hotels I stay at are free parking. So I don’t have much to compare it to for price.

The food is excellent, the staff is friendly couldn’t choose a better hotel to stay at in St. Louis. Only issue is the water the leaks out the bottom of the shower door major issue. I will always choose the downtown location when I stay in St. Louis, Missouri.
