EyeSmith is the best place for eye ware. They are very friendly, honest, and do excellent work. I gave them a few of my antique wire rim glasses, and they replaced the lenses to match my prescription, used glass lenses as I requested, did any repairs as needed, and did an excellent job of fitting the frame to my face. They are the best.

All these 5 star reviews are accurate! I stopped in looking for some new frames. Rand and Janeel spent at least an hour with me going over all the options and different glass technologies, taking great care and pride in their work and product offerings. Hands down one of the best store experiences I’ve had. Highly recommend.

I live in NW Shawnee and I am happy to drive to Green Hills Road for the service and selection at Eyesmith, for the second set of eyeglasses now. I originally heard their advertisement on the radio, talking about how they use a highly accurate laser mechanism to measure your prescription placement in your lenses, over a ruler and Sharpie. This caught my attention, because this was how my optometrist at the time was doing it. I wear trifocals, suffer from migraines and if my correction wasn't effortless, my sensitive brain would just "freak out". I found Rand and Janeel the most warm and welcoming people, who take time with you to try on as many frames as you want (such a wide-ranging, cute selection) and ensure your prescription will be placed accurately in your lens. For me, it means no matter where I look through my frames, the proper correction is just "there". No battling with awkwardly placed lines. I love my unique frames and will continue to make the drive. When you've found your match, you stick with it.

Their staff is very personable and knowledgeable. The lens are fantastic! I bought two pair of glasses with progressive and transitioning lens and they were perfect the first try. Plus the clarity with night vision isn’t just “marketing, ”. This is a big deal for me because I’ve bought glasses at several other places and had to go back several times because the lens were not exact to my prescription. I highly recommend eyeSmith

If you need to wear eyeglasses, this is definitely a place you want to purchase from. I have worn glasses for many years and appreciate beautiful eyewear but more importantly I want to self. I am able to do with the eyeglasses Janeel helped me select. The experience was amazing. She selected several pairs, then took a photograph of me in each of the pairs so I could see what I looked like from both the front and side views. Then we narrowed the selection down to the pair I purchased. I received the finished pair and have been wearing them for one week now. These eyeglasses are the best quality and most functional glasses I have ever worn. I highly recommend you try the shop.

This was the best experience in an eyeglass store I've EVER had! The owner Rand (hope I have the name right) greeted me right away. I had called ahead so he was expecting me and as I walked in he knew exactly what I was looking for. While they fixed my glasses he offered me an ice cold sparkling water and showed me around the gorgeous store! I couldn't recommend them more. Great experience! Thanks to the entire team! I could not be happier with the quality of service and the glasses I got from eyeSmith. My eyes are pretty bad and the glasses I've been getting from the doctor's optical department just weren't working. Between sitting in front of a computer all day to driving, I was extremely frustrated with my inability to see clearly. I decided to make the drive to see if the ads were true. They absolutely are. From the decision making process for frames (I got input from the owner, his wife, and the optician I was working with) to an explanation of the lens technology, to not allowing me to leave the store until my new glasses fit perfectly, the experience was actually enjoyable and educational. This is my third pair of glasses that I have purchased at eyeSmith and every time I am met with a warm welcome and smiling faces.

I am a VERY indecisive person (I tried on a TON of glasses) and Jackie was so patient and knowledgeable. All the staff went above and beyond helping me find something that was both fashionable, fit my face shape and my wallet! They never made me feel like my lack of decision-making ability was a burden on them and in fact all voted on which pairs were their favorites!

My recent experience with eyeSmith Optical was the best I’ve ever had with an optician, without question. I was having issues with a pair of glasses I’d purchased online so, based on their wonderful reviews, I sought out eyeSmith Optical to see if they could help me replace them. All I can say is, I was blown away. Rand Smith is a master optician. My first visit, he spent over an hour with me suggesting possible frames, describing the construct and features of their lenses and showing me the technology they use to adjust each client’s prescription based on the frame selected. He also took photos of the five frames I liked best so I could get my wife’s opinion before making my decision. I went back the next day with my frame choice - Rand took all the necessary readings, I took care of payment and Rand informed me it would take about two weeks to receive my glasses. I also want to mention that after our business was done, I spent about an hour just talking about a trip that Rand and his wife Janeel, who co-owns the business, were planning to take that weekend. It was like chatting with friends I’d known for years! Back to business: Two weeks and one day after my order was placed, I got a call that the glasses were in. I went in that afternoon and Kevin, one of their technicians, made a few adjustments to ensure a perfect fit. Rand then checked everything himself to be sure everything was perfect before I left the store. I honestly cannot recommend this business or the people at eyeSmith Optical strongly enough. Sure, the cost is higher than ordering glasses online, but the impeccable service Rand, Janeel and their team provide and their genuine care for the customer far outweigh that. I could not be more pleased with my new glasses - perfect fit, crisp, clear vision and no more headaches. Outstanding!
