Experience was great. Customer service actually exceeded my expectation. They helped with great attitudes as if they wanted to make sure I was happy. I bought 2 trees and one of the younger men offered to wrap them in burlap so I would not destroy them on the way home. For $20 I bought a fungus that would warranty them for 5 years>>>What? !? !? Warranty a tree? So now I want to address complainers of prices. You get what you pay for. When you judge a business behind your computer at least be smart about it. If you want cheap food and poor service eat at McDonalds, but if you want great food and service you have to pay more. Fact of life. 1 man in a truck can give you cheaper service but cannot provide the service that a bigger company as overhead and quality employees cost the business more which cost the customer more. Rant over. As for the truth about Family Tree Nursery. They have 4 times as healthy and more established product as box stores. At Lowes and Home Depot the trees looked like they were going to die before I got them home and, they were tiny for $125. Family Tree Nursery with awesome service and massive in comparison trees with more choices for $250. Whoever the owner is, thank you for a great business and product. I will be back.

Family Tree Nursery is a great place to get your annuals, herbs, vegetables, trees, and shrubs. Everything is always well taken care of and healthy. Their staff is very friendly and knowledgeable as well. I learned in our most recent trip that their trees and shrubs come with a one year warranty and you bring it back if it dies within the year for 1/2 back in store credit. While I know the big box stores have a better warranty, the health of the specimen and the staff helpfulness is more than sufficient to offset this.

Thus far each of our plants (indoor and outdoor) are thriving and look as good as the day we purchased it, only bigger. Highly recommend you check them out.

They get pretty busy on the weekends and have a lot of regulars for a good reason. They run some good deals, coupons, and specials from time to time as well so its worth checking them out.

Family Tree Nursery is a wonderful place to shop for plants, pottery, and gifts. They have a large selection of indoor and outdoor plants, from succulents and orchids to shrubs and trees. Their staff is knowledgeable, courteous, and helpful, and they always have great advice on how to care for your plants. Their pottery is beautiful and unique, and they have a variety of styles and colors to suit any taste. Their gift items are also charming and creative, and they have something for every occasion. I love going to Family Tree Nursery for their quality products and friendly service. They also host fun events throughout the year, such as workshops and festivals. Family Tree Nursery is a passionate and professional team of horticulturists that ensures a unique shopping experience. I highly recommend Family Tree Nursery to anyone who loves plants and gardening!

I buy from there cause their trees, flowers, and shrubbery are really good quality. They also tell me how to plant them and take care of them. Nothing has died following what they tell me to do

Always one of my favorite nurseries. Knowledgeable, friendly staff always quick with a smile and helpful tips. I always buy more than I came in for, but they make sure I know how to care for the new beauties when I put them in my garden. When I buy large or heavy items (such as bags of compost or soil) they load them for me which I really appreciate. Wide variety - if you want it, they probably have it!

It was wonderful as I was looking for specific perennial and they were the only ones that had it. I would give 5 if the had color variation of what I got. Also, I would say that I had looked on their online store and they did not listed as having it at the store.

My grandmother passed away and I wanted to find a plant to remind me of her. Alexis was so amazing and caring and spent about a half hour with me picking out the perfect plant. She even re-potted it for me to a new pot. She was one of the nicest most caring people I’ve ever met and I greatly appreciate how she treated me during my grief.

Just left Family Tree. 1st time there. Was very impressed. We came to just browse but of course bought a few items. Prices are pretty reasonable. First place I have gone to have a nice selection of the more pricey, rare houseplants.

Bought a fiddle leaf fig plant and while checking out I noticed white spots on the plant but the lady at the register assured me it was just water drop marks from their sprinkler. She said it should come off just by wiping the leaves. I wiped the leaves and it still remained and spread to new growth, so it was apparent it was powdery mildew. I tried several treatments of neem oil but the mildew has persisted. This wasn't the lady at the registers fault and isn't the reason for my one-star review.

On my birthday this year we decided to go back to the nursery to shop around. I bought a plant and honestly didn't look at it too much because it appeared to be healthy and doing well and my 4 year old was running around so we made things pretty quick.

When we got home and I went to plant it, I noticed the same water type drop marks. It was on the newer growth as well and because of my last experience with a plant bought from the family tree nursery I didn't want to chance it being powdery mildew and spread it to my other plants, so I took it back.

While explaining to the two at the register, Riley (who is the friendliest person I've probably ever met!) and a lady, called over "Jim" (or some older gentleman whose name starts with a J and probably holds a management position at the nursery) who was so dismissive and rude about my concerns with the plant. He was clearly insulted by my insinuation that the plant possibly had powdery mildew. His demeanor was so off putting that the rest of the shopping trip was uncomfortable.

I have loved all family tree nursery's since I was little but I won't be back to the Liberty location because I can't support a business that hires a man who thinks it's okay to treat people less than. I respect your knowledge, sir. I respect what you do for a living, sir. But that doesn't mean you know everything. And it also doesn't mean you should treat people in a condescending way just because you don't like our opinion. I didn't come in there behaving rudely or upset. I was smiling and just explaining my concerns, but I suppose because I look young, I don't deserve respect. Not sure what his deal was but it's not okay to treat people like that.

So one star for Jim or Jeff or John, can't remember, and one star because both the plants I have bought from this location had powdery mildew.
But then adding a star for Riley whose name I definitely remember because his smile was welcoming and sincere. Thank you for caring and being a nice human, Riley!

Went to get wreaths to place on graves. Had beautiful wreaths with mixed greens and pinecones. They were also on sale! If you are needing a poinsettia they have numerous to choose from in many colors and varieties. Several were on sale as well. Great variety of Christmas decorations.

I am definitely going back. I found the staff to be very helpful and friendly. Found exactly what I needed and was in and out in 10 minutes. I would have liked to have spent more time there, but I was on a mission. Glad to have found them. Will be back.

Way to expensive. Atleast for Christmas trees. Might buy plants in summer her but not trees.
