Farmington Hotel

First issue. Hidden Fees! I booked a room at this hotel through a 3rd party. I read through the fees and the third party did not disclose $100 refundable deposit fee that the hotel charges to your cc and a $2.00 service work fee. Had I known this upfront I would not have booked the room. Read the fine print. Second. I did not feel safe staying there as a female. I booked 2 nights and only stayed one night due to several homeless walking around panhandling at the nearby gas station just feet away and at the HWY intersections.

No elevator, no air in hallway the temp was 109 very disappointing, no blow dryer no iron but did have ironing board not handicap friendly

Front desk lady was awesome. When she checked us in she shared several things about my account that I wasn't aware of they were really helpful. Also when we had the situation where the toilet lid wouldn't close she moved us to a different room that was even nicer. Only disappointment was breakfast as they didn't have the waffles or gravy like I've had at other locations but it was adequate

Where's the price we paid for the room? It was a decent room. Staff was friendly and helpful. One draw back was no elevators.

This has been a horrible experience. I was awoken a little after 9 AM. I heard a knock, and before I even had time to say anything another knock as they opened my door. A man asked if needed service, I told him no thank you. I had fell back asleep after going to get their breakfast at 7 AM. I also spoke with the man at the front desk at this time asking for a late checkout. He said I could check out at noon. So, I fall back asleep after telling them I needed no room service. 10: 40 AM I am awoken yet again. This time, by a man, who had came into my room, and was literally YELLING at me "I need cart" over and over. I had forgotten about the cart I had used to bring my luggage and tools and things into the room when I checked in. I told him I did not care what he needed, you don't just enter my room without my permission and wake me up by yelling at me. I used several curse words and told him repeatedly to get out of my room. He would not leave and I noticed there was another man in my doorway as well. After cursing both of them and they still refused to leave, I finally took my tools off the cart and flipped it over and told them to take it. Fast forward to 11: 30 AM. I get another series of knocks. I open the door to a woman. She informs me checkout is at 11. I told her I had been told I could check out at noon. After arguing back and forth, she finally left. I could not imagine if my wife had been staying here, and had 2 men enter the room and scream at her waking her up. I am pretty upset, I have never had anything happen like this. Customer beware.

Mike is the best, and we stayed there for 3 nigjts and it was great. Quiet and was connected to a great pub and grill. Staff was always helpful. I would recommend this place always if your are staying in Farmington Missouri.

This place was so accommodating for our baseball team. They let us have a team bbq at the pool. Big nice rooms. Pool was great. Great lawn to chill out under the shade.

FUTURE GUEST BEWARE:
Checked in because we were in town for a family emergency. Front desk staff was rude as the air conditioning was not to our liking it cooled to 75. We also needed an extra pillow and bathtowel. Front desk was rude and said there was none. Be careful because pictures make it seem nicer than it was. Had a pool view. You could barely see the pool. Sleeping in the car would have been more comfortable.

So far the stay has been just okay. Nothing awful, but the first foom we were put in had an ac with a broken knob. Management tried to tell us it was fine, but he's a bad liar. Thankfully we got put into a different room.

Almost gave this a 5 star because front desk was great.
Breakfast was adequate made better by an attentive attendant (see what I did there?)

Stayed here for for four nights for a business development training course in Leadington. Location is right off the 67 highway, I mean right off the highway. Service is what would be expected from this class of hotel. However they had to have staff specifically for the breakfast as they had to make pancakes for everyone and those sat in a warmer till they were gone and fresh ones made. The setup where you are able to make the waffles at will I think is better, however the space for that is not readily available at this location. Which brings the third point, this hotel meds to be remodeled and updated. There was no access to the building after 10 pm except for the front door, other hotels have card access for those doors. The security strike plate for the door at my room was broken in the middle and the door was pealing at the bottom. The fridge would not stay shut and leaked the entire stay. The bed was comfortable enough for me and I didn't really have any other issues while there. I. E.everyone was respectful of each other and you were able to sleep without any issues.

Needed a quick place to sleep, room was clean and had everything we needed, location was perfect for our route.

For the price, this was a very good hotel. The rooms were clean and the beds slept well. I would have preferred a mattress with more padding, but I did wake without a backache - so that is a big plus. I would have liked bed side tables on both sides of the beds instead of just between them.

I do have to give a big thumbs up for their breakfast. It was a full meal, not just a continental breakfast.

Absolutely horrible. This was our absolute last resort of a hotel to stay at because of past stays. Let’s start off with how bad they treat you. We checked in late at night because the Hampton inn had messed up on there end and locked up my bank account. So this was the only place that even had a room available. So since we was visiting family (which we do roughly every 2 weeks in Farmington) we had to get a room. Well we booked a king suite room poolside. Definitely not what we got. We got a double queen. So we went and asked the front desk and she said and I quote”don’t know what to tell you we booked that room already”. So we just said okay well we want the price difference then. (Almost 50 dollars) well then we got to the room. 1. You can literally here the people in the next room talking. 2. There was so much hair and dirt and grime all over the bathroom. Toilet was
Disgusting, shower was filthy, sink was nasty, floors was nasty. 3. Beds was absolutely uncomfortable and there was stains and holes all over the sheets. 4. The doors would not stay shut unless locked. I could keep going on and on. Well here we are a few days later and they still have not refunded me my money. I’m about to call the health department and have them do an inspection for it being so nasty and unsanitary. Oh and the breakfast lady was rude as come be. Breakfast ends at 930. We came in at 9 and there was 1 peice of sausage and 2 pancakes. She said oh it closes in 30 minutes and I’m not making anything else. And then it wasn’t even 930 and she said y’all need to leave I have to lock the doors. Just overall a HORRIBLE experience.

Had ice cold water for BOTH day's we stayed here. Unable to shower. Our bed sheets were old all torn and tattered. Then the refrigerator in our room quit while we were out. Our food was no good. However staff promptly replaced refrigerator. The staff of the hotel were wonderful, the hotel itself is the issue. At least the breakfast was hot and fresh, but that's the only good thing to say.

I have stayed there multiple times. I am never let down. I always have a great experience and receive 5 star service. They have modern rooms at an extremely affordable price. The rooms are always clean, fresh, and beds are so comfortable. Hot breakfast every morning. Plus the staff there are always so welcoming and happy. I would definitely recommend to anyone.
