Farrand Farms Kansas City Garden Center

I love this nursery. But them being completely closed during winter months is very inconvenient. I cannot afford to stock up on over $1,000 of soil before they close for the season. Nobody else carries the product nearby. I'm unsure why they have a retail store in Blue Springs if it is also closed through the winter.

One of the few places in town I could find moss rose late in the season. I know a lot of their bedding plants were already gone, but it didn't look like they carried as many of my old favorites as they used to.

Used to be our go-to for garden stuff.it's become disorganized and lacking!
I know Mr Farrand retired. He would be upset at the way things are run now.
We'll have to find a new place.

We stumbled across this place by accident, and we decided to turn around to check them out. I'm so happy we did! They have a wide variety of flowers and the staff was very friendly and helpful. We live about 45 minutes away from here, but we will definitely make the drive back soon.

I usually come here thinking paying a higher price will Guarantee the quality of the plant.wrong or at least 2023 that is not the case. Purchase 2pack of lettuce for 5.99 each and half of them where dead when I took them out. Called thinking they would exchange the dead ones.nope basically told me your snooze you lose. I'll try other places this year

Very nice place clean. Also is it still ran by family. Or all of them gone.
