First Watch, North Kansas City MO

Waitress was a little forgetful. Forgot a number of things on our orders. Had to ask for half and half for our coffee 3 times. When my order with pancakes came to the table, there wasn't any syrup that came with it, and the waitress was not around. Got syrup from a different waitress. Overall, the food was very good. The service was not typical of the service we have received here before.

Great country-style breakfast food, service, and atmosphere. Will definitely eat here again.

Great food, atmosphere, and service. I tried the summer's menu French Toast special, and it was out of this world.

They weren't very busy this morning our server took over 15 minutes to bring our drinks then acted like we didn't exist while waiting on tables around us. Then waited another 15 minutes after our plates were cleared to bring us our ticket. When we got to the front to pay the young man didn't say anything just put his hand out for the ticket. Very disappointing service compared to when we have been there before.

My experience with First Watch, is always pleasurable. There, service is exceptional. The kale tonic is delicious. Thank you.

First Watch is nice. It's a little pricey for breakfast, but they have some fancier offerings than other restaurants. If you're looking for an upscale place for breakfast, give First Watch a try.

This is my favorite location. The food is always fresh and consistent in the quality and presentation. Staff is always professional and welcoming.

I tell you.
Go to Missouri and the people are more happier then people in CA.

Waitress wasn't very attentive to our condiments and filling our coffee up again.

Racially discriminated, belittled and flat out embarrassed… these are my feeling leaving first watch today…. We visited this same location yesterday and had an amazing experience yesterday which prompted us to come back today unfortunately we didn’t receive the same service! Our waitress was kind and nice and very attentive unlike todays service!

We understand that it was a lot more people there today so maybe thats why our waitress was short with us and not as friendly. We understood that enjoyed our meal paid our tab, got change for tip, asked for a to go box and walked out the door not even making it 5 steps before we hear someone yelling at us a few steps behind.

We (my boyfriend and I) turn around not understanding what the man later known as hector was saying. We ask him to repeat himself and he states the WE NEED TO PAY OUR TICKET AND IT WASNT NOTHING BUT $10 ON THE TABLE! Looking confused my boyfriend started to explain the $10 was left as a tip for the waitress. At the same time I’m asking him didn’t he pay the tab as hector is still yelling that we need to pay up front and the $10 did not cover the bill. By this time the whole restaurant is looking out the window as we being accused of stealing.

After further explaining it. Hector said Aw if you paid my bad and turned around to walk in. I said to my boyfriend oh I can’t wait to speak with his manager NEVER THINKING THIS MAN COULD BE MANAGING ANYONE! And hector turns around and says I AM THE MANGER as the door closes behind him.

I’m not sure as to why he handles us like that but I’m so upset. I’m sure he’s not running after any other guest to make sure they’ve paid with a copy of the receipts waving in the air! My thing is if hector had time to print out a copy of the receipt by the time we walked 5 steps out the door why was he not able to verify that we paid before coming outside, racially profiling us and accusing us of stealing?

These type of wrongfully accusations are the reason why so many of my people are gunned down and killed and I’m disgusted by your companies actions!

Haven't been to First Watch in a long time. Stopped in for brunch because we were in North Town. The taste of the Belgian waffle was ok, but it was cold when it came out, and the butter didn't melt, even with warm syrup. The bacon was hot and good flavor. I'd say we waited longer than expected, so disappointed in the temperature of the food. Will try the new location up by Tiffany Springs, but won't visit this one again.

We had an amazing breakfast! It was our first visit. The service was great, the food was great, the atmosphere was great. They have a large variety of food on the healthier side!

Diverse menu. The food was good, but not exceptional, very nice atmosphere, excellent service.

I ordered my usual farmhouse skillet, however today I decided to order online and just eat it at my office.

I picked my order up at 8: 25. I for to my office at 8: 40. Why is this avocado this brown?
I asked for my bacon and eggs to be cooked soft. They were cooked hard and the potatoes were burnt. I’m actually really disappointed in this first watch

Always delicious! This is a big breakfast stop in the area, always packed with customers and for good reason.
