Fortune Express, St. Louis MO

Not good. Fried wontons and fried potstickers were made a long time ago not fresh. They probably make them in batcches once a hour at most and that’s it. The oil had a bit of a Styrofoam taste to it, so we did not finish the fried items, Yuck. My husband said the chicken and mushroom was OK but salty. I had the orange chicken and it really wasn’t orangey, it was just squishy and doughy. This was our first time visiting and our last. By the way, we are both burping badly which is usually the first sign of bad oil.

I’m sorry to say, we order a lot and this was the first time the food was cold and the crab Rangoon seemed ‘old’.

We are newer to the neighborhood and found this gem of a restaurant! The food is excellent, the service is top notch, and delivery wonderful. And the best part, they took accountability for some crab rangoon that were not very good by giving us a free order on our order we placed today because I mentioned the very, very small issue with our first order. We ordered again because everything else was exceptional. They did not have to do anything, but they did. And want my feedback after we get our food. Seriously top notch service and that is so rare. HIGHLY, HIGHLY, HIGHLY SUGGEST YOU ORDER AND SOON

Fortune Express is great! The owners and staff could not be nicer—they always go above and beyond to make sure their customers are happy with their orders, and they are always very kind and friendly. Their food is very affordable, and it is a really nice touch that delivery is free if you live close to the restaurant (and pick up is easy and seamless too!) Fortune Express is my go-to place for comfort food: all their noodle dishes are great. And as a vegan, I appreciate that they’ll add tofu at no extra charge to some of their vegetable dishes, or substitute it for meat. A wonderful local eatery!

The Best Orange Chicken in St Louis. I haven't found any other place that makes it better!

Best Chinese food in town. They always give large portions of great tasting food. Their St. Paul sandwich is the best I've ever had. Food is never greasy and the people are always polite and friendly.

It was your classic place to hit up for some crab rangoon, bok choy beef, and vegetarian fried rice! They very quickly got my order together for me in only about 10 minutes.

The hostess was very kind and attentive. The institution itself was hygienic and spotless. From what I could see in the kitchen, everything was orderly and cleanly.

The food is very good and I’ve always had good service the last 10 yrs I’ve lived nearby. But the last 2 times I ordered I told the gentleman answering the phone I only had a $100 bill and to make sure the driver had change. The 1st time the driver came and didn’t have change but he had JUST ENOUGH change that left him with a 70% tip. Not wanting to cause a big issue I gave it to him. Fast forward to last week, same situation and he assured me driver would have change. Driver arrived and what a surprise, he didn’t have enough change but had JUST ENOUGH to give himself a 70% tip. AGAIN I paid for the order but this time I called the restaurant and informed the gentleman answering the phone of the situation, he apologized and promised to “give me free food” next time I ordered. I called in today 6/10/23. And placed an order, when I inquired about the promised discount I was offered a free drink.this wasn’t acceptable to me so I asked to talk to the gentleman who made the promise. When he got in the phone he I formed me it wasn’t a good time and he would honor his commitment “next time”

I've only ever ordered delivery from here and it has always been very good, and prompt.

My food was very good. Was a little upset because I ordered crab Rangoon as a side but received an egg roll. The egg roll was good but was looking forward to the Rangoon.

This place got some of the best chinese food I've ever eaten. They have such nice staff and the food arrived on time! They didn't even call me a soy sauce drinker! They even offered to pay for me medical bills that I received after nearly suffocating myself on the amazing food! All in all, one of, if not the best chinese resturant in St. Louis!

Ordered the szechuan spicy chicken "HOT". Wasn't spicy at all and was mainly veggies, very little chicken. Disappointed. /:

Been going there since 1997. Never had a bad meal or experience. Food is always good, hot and tasty. I usually never have a wait period.

Good Chinese restaurant, with limited free delivery. Parking can be difficult/near impossible due to the crowds at Ted Drewes.

The service here is absolutely awesome!
And the food tastes great as well.
Only reason why I did not give it a 5 star review is because the first time that I came here, I got attacked by a horde of vampires, and my health insurance did not cover this horrific incident. But other than that, keep going!

Been here for forever. They have good affordable food in the neighborhood. I have to say that they have the biggest St Paul sandwiches, just so full of delicious ingredients. The prices are some of the best around.
