Lived here for four years and had a great experience! The location is great-5 minutes to downtown, 10 minutes to the plaza, and walking distance from a few bars and restaurants and the WWI memorial (a GREAT place for a nice run). Management and the maintenance team have been helpful and relatively quick with any issues we have had.

I can already tell that this place will be phenomenal. Moving from out of state, every interaction I've had with office staff with questions and trying to get things organized has been smooth as silk. Cannot wait to get there!

A place that makes you feel AT HOME
I just moved here no complaints upon move in. I love the layout of my unit as well as the amount of space. It is very quiet here grounds kept clean. Mgmt communication has been nothing less than exceptional i love it here already.

Union Hill as a whole has been nothing shy of amazing. My girlfriend and I moved to KC recently from a small town and a small city near St. Louis. We wanted to be able to experience all KC has to offer but not lose the community aspect we both felt in our respective hometowns. Founders at Union Hill has given us the opportunity to have both. We love being so close to everything since we are 5 mins from the Plaza and Downtown. We can get anywhere in the city relatively easy and being from a small town with not many options for stores and restaurants, this has been amazing. The flip side of the coin is that we have a great community life. We have a 5 month old puppy who loves seeing all of the kind, welcoming people that live here. She has also enjoyed the massive amounts of space outside to run and play in real grass as well as the turf dog stations conveniently placed right outside our every building's front door. Our neighbors have been kind and respectful of each other so no one steps on each other's toes or is disruptive. It would be very uncommon to walk outside and not be greeted with a smile and a wave from one of the other residents. If you are looking for a place to call home in the heart of KC trust me, there is no place better than Union Hill. Alyssa is the leasing agent that we worked with and I would 10/10 recommend using her. She has been responsive and incredibly helpful with anything we needed whether it be any type of issue we experience or just looking for recommendations around KC. She always has a positive, can do attitude and made the entire experience smooth and pleasant.

I lived in the Founders at Union Hill apartments for a year, and I really loved my apartment there. When we moved in, the apartment had been brought back up to perfect shape, and I had great experiences with maintenance while I was there.

At one point, the washing machine above us flooded and maintenance came to warn us before the water started coming in - we were able to get all our stuff out of the way and nothing was harmed. Maintenance was back the next day and fixed it all, and did proper COVID procedures the whole time.

We referred a friend to live here, and I'd definitely recommend it to others.

Don’t live here. The teams that manage this apartment complex are not professional. They do not put their residents first. Their teams are misleading with information they provide at the time of Leasing. This group purposely leased us an apartment where I could not have my pet. Every team member who showed me and my roommate the apartment we lived in specifically stated pets were allowed. When I signed the lease the manager Ruth said that pets were allowed in this building. Unfortunately that was not the case. And they did nothing to remedy the issue. My roommate and I would’ve had to pay an extra $1500 to move to a pet available apartment.

The streets and sidewalks on the grounds are in poor condition. They do not have garage spaces enough to meet the numbers of their clientele. The apartments are highly energy inefficient And poorly constructed. The maintenance personnel was never able to fix the air conditioner so that the master bedroom would be cool during warm weather periods.

I will take any and every opportunity to poorly rate my experience with this apartment company every chance I get to warn people not to lease here.
