Four Brothers Mead, Festus MO

Always a great experience at Four Brothers Mead. Fun with friends and family. If you haven't been there I suggest you get a flight. Our favorite is the Ironsides Reign its a mead flavored with Blackberry.

4 Brothers is a Veteran owned, Viking themed bar in downtown Festus, MO that primarily serves Meade. They also have a limited variety of beer available, and sometimes, there are specialty drinks. There was live music the evening of Veterans Day when I was there with a friend. The music was good, the service was great and the Meade was delicious! Can't wait to return and enjoy another glass or two of Meade.

For lack of a better term, this *stuff* is AMAZING. Love me a good maple old fashion and their Yggdrasil sap mead is top of the top good. It has excellent maple and was so good that I ordered it first, tried another, and went back and ordered another because I had to have some more. They have REALLY REALLY good mead. Better than any other mead I’ve tried.

By far the best mead I have ever had! The Brothers and Crew treat ya like family. They have a supporter for life!

Great product. Dry mead unlike the syrupy sweet stuff often encountered at Renaissance fairs (though if you like that Yggradsil Sap is sweetened with maple syrup). The theme, including interior decoration, was Viking/Norse which was well done and cohesive

If you’re looking for a quaint establishment with a quiet atmosphere, bring your date to this tasting room for a wonderful first date.
The drinks are tasteful, the staff knowledgeable, and the prices are better than anything you’ll find around town.

I still smell of smoke and spilled mead. Today was catered; yum! The mead, however, is the star here. Very friendly folk. Very tasty mead. Totally worth the drive. I'll be here again. You should get here too.

There are also events that are held so ask the staff what might be coming up. The horn cups and mugs are good quality and available for purchase. As well as bottles of their famous mead.

Absolutely loved this place. The vibe and the love flows as much, if not more, than the mead!

Lots of fun, reasonable prices! The bartenders and other patrons both were very friendly and helpful, and they have a Viking festival 2x a year. Lots of mead variety, Incase you wanna mix things up from the standard Camelot or Viking Blud. Gorgeous hardwood interior/bar, with good heavy music playing. I may have splurged a little after sampling a nice variety.
