Freddy's Frozen Custard & Steakburgers, St Joseph MO

First time getting a chocolate shake, I didn't like the taste. Fries were good while hot and the burger was ok. Drive thru was slow with just 2 cars ahead of me

Drove through for coffee, which they didn't have. Got a small sundae just to say I tried it. Very nice staff, got the order correct, and easy access to the highway. Recommend for desserts, I guess.

They’re supposed to close at 10 but they had already turned the lights off and turned on the closed sign above the drive-through lanes when we got there at 9: 53. Lame.

I’ve been a few times, just not very good for the price you pay, only reason I’m giving them 2 stars is because their frozen custard is great. The burgers are crispy but it’s just my opinion.

Just ordered a chocolate shake and there was a massive hole in cup and It poured out of my lap within 1 mile of leaving Freddys…. Long drive home because of some unhappy window worker

I am a Manager at another restaurant and applied for a position. Got an interview offer and took time off my current job. When I got there the Manager tells me that she has no record of my interview. Then goes to pass the buck and say it was the recruiting websites fault and admitted it was not the first time this has happened. So it is a known issue that is not fixed. So then tells me that after wasting my time and hours I took off, to go to another site and apply again. I have to say this place is very unprofessional and no care of wasting peoples time and wonder why you are hiring and can't keep employees. One good thing is I'm better off not getting the job and working with people who don't really know how to manage. I don't know about the food but would not recommend anyone applying for a position there.

Im never going back there again because this lady who taking our orders was making fun of my mom because she didn’t know any english and she was very racist.oh ya that was 2 years ago I’m still not coming back

It's a sad, sad day. Currently looking for a new favorite hamburger place, since Freddy's serves pink slime and not real meat. My husband's burger was SO red it looked raw. That's NOT real meat and no one can convince me otherwise, certainly not the overbearing little punk who wanted to argue with me, nor the manager who claimed that it was the new meat supplier. And they didn't even give us our money back. We paid for an inedible meal and didn't even get an apology.

Food was delicious as usual. Girl taking order needs to pay attention. She asked if we wanted a Sunday or concrete… I replied a Sunday and she entered in concrete. Asked for the new bbq bacon burger as a single and got a double with no bbq sauce.

I visited Freddy's my first time for dinner. The burger was very good. I had the PBC&B (Peanut butter cup and banana) concrete and it was very good. I love the shoestring french fries.

We love Freddy's burgers, fries & shakes. Orders always correct & good service inside. Have gotten several orders wrong in drive thru. I always order inside now.

My burger was burned and so dry I took 32 oz of soda to wash it down the chocolate brownie chocolate ice cream hot fudge sundae was sinful so we will be going back but only for the sundaes

We went in and had dinner, it was very fast, friendly, clean. The burgers are amazing! They are delicious and the fries are wonderful.

We usually never have any problems, and today when I went and picked up our order at the counter I ask for some Freddy's sauce, the guy gave me 2 small containers. Then I ask him for more and he was happy to go get me some and he was stopped by another gal worker and she said we only give out 1 sauce per fry order, really. Then if thats the case, either out the container back out on the counter or make the container of sauce bigger, because some people like using the sauce for their fries and to put on our hamburgers.
Really doubt if we go back to Freddy's again, we will go down the road to 5 Guys.

Went to Freddy's tonight, ordered a double California received my order and went back to my room only to find they gave me the wrong order. Ok no biggie drive back up there let them know and after they inspect the sigle hamburger like it was a CSI case they decided to give me another hamburger. Here's the part that says nope never going back there again, while waiting I watched the drive through worked make a sundae pull apart the banana with bare hands and add it to the sundae wipe their hands on a towel that looked as if it was there all day. I'm not one to throw a fit when I get a wrong order but I'd dang sure throw fit if someone decides to be to lazy to throw some gloves on while pulling apart a banana that would be in my sundae. Don't like ypur job find a new preferably not with food

Use to love this place but it’s gone down hill in the cleaning department. I can never find a clean dining table, seat, floor area even around 3: 00pm in the afternoon! The floors are so sticky too even in the bathroom! The food is still good! Just be warned when dining in.

Must have been a bad day or bad location. Burger was extra salty and tasted like the meat was cooked on a dirty pan. Fries were good but burger was not.

Long wait in the drive thru relative to the amount of cars (2), poor service at the speaker, and the price is Five Guys expensive but the food is really Sonic quality. The concretes are the only redeeming factor

Very good food and loved the decor. The only complaint I have is that none of the tables were cleaned off very good. It was not very busy and it looked as if there was a full staff working. This was the day before Easter at about 4: 45 p.m.

Any interesting Missouri stop for a classic malt shop burger. This reminded me of the burgers I'd get when visiting the local burger place on Main Street in a small town. An interesting french fry also in that it was thin and crispy.
