Frida's Cantina and Grill, Rolla MO

I frequent here often and most likely won't be coming back. Have had issues with dirty/poorly cooked food and horrible service the last few times. The bathroom doors in the men's room don't have locks anymore. Multiple times we've unwillingly exposed ourselves to strangers because they refuse to fix it (they have been made aware for a literal 6+ months).

This time I ordered from the ala cart menu. Told my server specifically alacart and ordered one burrito and two chalupas. She brought meals of all 3. I said "I don't think this is the right order and I just wanted to check before eating". There were NO WORDS exchanged, just a huge sigh and an eye roll on top of the owner/manager nearly dumping a whole hot plate on me because he was so mad that I was trying to not eat someone elses food that I wouldn't pay for. The waitress was great and made a simple, understandable mistake. The owner made me leave and made her miss out on a tip I would've been happy to give her. I hope the employees are happy here knowing their bosses terrible attitude is most likely constantly affecting their tips. Every time I've had an issue here, it has been directly because of the manager that's always there. Terrible to his customers and employees

This is my fav Mexican restaurant. The margaritas are to die for. All the food is good. Affordable. MOST affordable. I love the staff even when they are swamped they are accommodating and pleasant. Atmosphere is great! Definitely recommend!

The food is amazing! I stuffed myself silly! Next time in the near future I will order pickup! I will not order from RSJ delivery service again. Donald the delivery driver was great I would hire him myself if I was an employer.not his fault I am so unhappy with RSJ! But I have nothing but praise for Frida's! I will be back soon!

Salsa and chips was the best I have had at any Mexican restaurant! The food was hot and really wonderful. I will be back!

Top of the line for Mexican Food in Rolla. Highly recommend the 32 oz Dos Equis with chilled mug & lime slice!

I went with my son and daughter to that place. The menu was overwhelming and different options. We enjoy the food and hospitality of people. The reason I gave three stars because I asked for Jack Daniel. They brought some low shelf whiskey with crushed ice. I know how Jack Daniel taste. I asked my daughter if I should complain right away? She said: That's fine. I asked my son the same question. He said give them one star. I'm trying to be fair gave them three stars. I think in the future I drink at home.

We made a quick trip to rolla, eating here was a must! The food is the best Mexican in rolla! The service this time was not the best, but the food was great as normal!

The food is amazing, great lively atmosphere and super friendly staff. Always a great time going here and we look forward to going again!

Use to be an exceptional place to dine. My husband and I will never go back after our last experience; won’t go into detail but the quality of food has went WAY down. The steak fajitas were literally disgusting and our stomachs didn’t feel quite right for two days. Be leery to eat here for sure.

My fiancé and I shared a double order of chicken and steak fajitas and a small side order of guacamole it was delicious

This was first time going to this restaurant & come to find out, this is a Mexican restaurant! Firstly, we got our chips & salsa & the salsa was fantastic! They make it from scratch. It had great flavor & had almost no spice to it. Then, we ordered queso dip w/ taco meat appetizer & very good. Menu has very large variety & very good size drink menu. We ordered al pastor tacos & Rolla special. Both were very good & from order to food was about 15-20 minutes. A couple tables ordered margarita towers & they are pretty good size. The tables closest to us said drink tasted like juice only & we did notice the towers ended up being 1/2 full of ice once empty. Would be good for 2-3 people 2-3 drinks but the other table had 10 guys & they ordered 4 towers. Overall, food & salsa was amazing & will definitely go again for Mexican fix!

To start off my wife and I were joining her family for a birthday dinner. Some of us had never eaten there before because we prefer a different Mexican restaurant in town. Chips and salsa was the first thing we tried and that was good (salsa had a little spice to it). We then ordered a pitcher of lime margaritas. Needlessly to say that is where our dining experience started going sour. The margaritas tasted chemically or no tequila just not really sure. So our waitress saw that we were concerned and pulled out a straw and tasted the pitcher and agreed something was off about it. Her boss/owner told her it was fine and she told us she added some tequila to it no charge. The extra tequila drowned the weird flavor a little but not enough to finish the pitcher. So we ordered our food and I got carnitas and my wife got something with bulldog in the name. The plates were really nice and big in which the portions just spread out in a thin layer on the plate. My wife's meal also tasted a little chemically as well and she didn't finish it and most of my food was cool to the touch even thought the plate was hot and I didn't finish it. Not to mention the boss/owner stood not 10 feet from us after complaining about the margaritas the rest of our dinner. We will never dine there again even if someone paid us to eat there for free.

Never again! Margaritas taste like chemicals, food was cold because of over sized plates, and extremely salty. If you are looking for authentic Mexican, this is not it. I wouldn't do it again even if it were free. Oh and because we had said something to our waitress about the Margaritas, the owner stared at our table until we left. Classy.

Went to dinner with friends and had 3 separate tickets and there was something wrong with all 3, one even had a hair they tried saying was from a corn husk.umm no it wasn't it was black, just overall poor attitudes from the staff as well as the service, will not return as there are better mexican places in Rolla with better service.

Awesome food. I had the Bulldog Burrito which was fantastic. Had great and friendly service. They had good drinks and a decent variety of drinks. We will be back soon. Thanks

Delicious food, and a lovely place to visit. Frida paintings everywhere. I cleaned my plate in one sitting, and that almost never happens!

Fantastic experience! Quick, excellent service, delicious food (seriously some of the best Mexican I've ever had), and reasonable prices. We went during graduation weekend and we still were served efficiently and effectively.
