Favorite nursery in the area! Beautiful and huge variety of plants and helpful, friendly staff. They are also so supportive of community gardening efforts and a wonderful business for our neighborhood. I love how helpful they are, no matter your gardening experience or knowledge.

Steve was amazing! We drove an hour to pick the perfect tree to plant as a memorial to our dad, and he went above and beyond helping us… from telling us how to plant it, to caring for it, to securing it in a safe way in our truck to make it the hour ride back home… I will definitely be coming back for our future planting!

This place has the best plant and planters/pot selections. Also, all the staff are super nice and helpful.

I live closer to two other garden nurseries but I drive specifically to this location because they have the BEST selection of plants, the plants are well kept/in good condition, and the staff knows their stuff. I’m always able to get great advice from the people who work here. Plus the place is beautiful.

Buyer Beware! We bought a lemon tree here. I realized that we did not have enough sun we have around 4ish hours of sun and the tree needs at least 6. I called and was told that there are no returns. Not only was I not explained how much sun the lemon tree needed. I was also never told of the no refund policy. The tree is in good health and only two weeks old. Lemon Trees are selling briskly with none in stock. However, they do not care about customer service. Very disappointed!

Garden Heights has a tremendous selection as well as knowledgeable and helpful staff. If you are into MO Native Plants, they have the largest selection in the area, including many plants in the smaller 'plugs', which provide an opportunity to establish a garden on a budget.

First time visiting. Glad we made the stop. Everything about this place was presented magically! The clever design of the layouts and signage made for a relaxed and informative shopping experience. Every single employee was engaging, kind, and obviously loved working here. Looking forward to our next visit!

I told the young lady what I needed and she was wonderful. She took me around to consider options and she helped me make good choices. My pleasure.

I went here yesterday for the first time since a lot of people find this place amazing.
However, the people who were working inside were extremely rude to me? Everyone outside seemed nice. Smiling, waving, asking if I needed help, etc. But I kept getting weird looks when I was looking for a snake plant, then when I was trying to pick out a pot while inside. When it was time to check out the person at the register was quite abrasive. I don’t think I’ve ever received an eye roll from a middle-aged/older woman? Still processing lol
I usually just brush these things off and tell myself they are just having a bad day- because we ALL have been there. Or maybe my body language wasn’t giving off good vibes since I had a raging migraine? But right after me, she helped a very nicely dressed man and her posture and tone and everything changed, and suddenly she was the nicest person ever! Idk!
I don’t usually leave reviews but something about this hasn’t been sitting right with me. Will try them again in a month or two and see how it goes. Will update.

I can't really say enough good things about this place. I got some pansies here in 2020 that were so resilient that they survived most of the winter with flowers and then went down after we had about 8 inches of snow. They have just come back in the spring of 2021 with flowers even though they are annuals. Wow! Good service and good selection. Also, I prefer how it is organized by shade and sun and annuals and perennials over other stores.

We did a huge garden project in fall 2020.

Most of the shurbs and trees survived and for 3 which died, store provided store credit for purchasing other plants.

Love the selection of houseplants here. There's really something for everyone if you love plants and gardens. Employees are very kind and knowledgeable.
