This has to be the worst facility in the United States. They set appointments but do not honor appointments. I was told by yard drivers that they do not even do appointments for roll paper every time I have come here. The 2 times I have come here. There have been very long waits for absolutely no reason at all. Avoid this place at all cost. They do not want to pay detention. They do not want to pay layover. The only one that loses and pulling loads for this facility. Georgia pacific in kansas city is the driver avoid at all cost

They only have one dock to unload you. Get there early or you will wait. My wait was 7 and a half hours.

Quick unload in at 320am out at 344am.yard driver looked at me like i head 3 heads through and not most friendly (hence 4 stars instead of 5)

Much better experience the second time around. Came in much earlier, due to them working off 1st come 1st get unloaded. Got here at 5: 20am and was able to pull up to dock. Got unloaded by 6: 00am. No complaints at all.

Absolutely worst gp in the world. Yard dog drivers will yell at you even if they tell you that you are next, then pull in and start yelling at you like your a little kid. Horrible unprofessional facility.

Typical GP. Long wait no space. Yard dog was friendly and helpful. But they give no consideration to the drivers. Look where they tapedmy bill! Why make me climb up? Oh, it's the easiest place for them to stick it. This sums up my GP experience

My advice to drivers if at all possible, arrive with intentions of staying overnight while parking on the curb bcuz the yard jockey signs u in at 6: 30am but u could sit for hours b4 being unloaded in other words, at least u won’t have to start ur clock until it’s actually your turn to go back to be unloaded. They have got to be the worst in the GP industry.

06: 00 appointment! Sitting on the street waiting for a call or the yard dog to get me in. Read the reviews and they are spot on. Don’t even bother pulling into to check in. Just park on the street and walk in. This place has no room to turn around in but drives do it all the time. I had to back completely out due to a bobtail blocking the area needed to turn around. One of the yard guys needs to learn how to speak to people. Not sure how much longer but. I think next year is a good guess! And a negative star is needed for this place.

I got here 30 mins early and ive been waiting to be unloaded for 5 hours and counting for a couple of rolls of recycled paper.

I don't think they deserve any stars they take about 6 hours to get unloaded that's half my day and I get paid by the hour also the place is doable but very tight getting into the dock don't be a newbie u will have trouble

Avoid this place if you can! This place will keep you for 12+ hr, all the yard dawgs are miserable as hell… (especially that m3th head looking one with no teeth) … This place is tight as hell! You have come in on you blind side and swing out damn near stretching your lines out… & you have to wait on the street because it’s first come first serve.honestly this place is a mess.

They don't open before 7, and you have to wait outside for your turn.narrow lots, but the people are friendly and helpful

This is one of the worst Georgia-Pacific locations that I have been to for a live unload. It is too small. There is only one way in and out, with barely enough room to turn around. The traffic in and out can make turning around a stressful thing to do, and you have to turn around in the lot due to where the dock is located.

When you arrive, you should park on the street and walk to the building to get checked in, as the yard jockey is going to have you to turn around and do so anyway.

It is first come, first serve regardless of appointment time. Once you check in and get parked, the yard jockey will come to let you know when its your turn to get unloaded.

On a good day, you can expect it to take 2-6 hours. The last time I was there, I arrived at 6A for a 6: 30A appointment (5th truck in line), and was able to complete a full 10 hr rest break before I was unloaded. On the rarest of occasions, you can get unloaded within a couple of hours, if you can get there first.

They do allow you to park there overnight, on the street in front of the building, so long as you're not blocking any other entrances.

Arrived 1800 for an 1830 appointment. Put on dock at 2300 finally unloaded at 0400.7 rolls of paper that’s it. Only plus side is street parking.
Stay away

Most paper roll warehouses are pretty fast. For some reason, these a-holes take up half your day.

Stop in the street and walk to the building. Go back to your truck, and they will come get you when you're much older to unload

Easy to find and get to. I park on the street and walk up but you can pull into the place to check-in. Ring the buzzer to get in, the wind in the building is strong so pull hard. We drop and hook so I don't know about loading times. They have a porta potty for us less desirables to use which is want they get three stars. Over all the place isn't bad and RM GPS should take you right to it.

I don’t even know if there is a way to give 0 star this place is Pathetic wit a Capital P you check in wit a yard dog and they already going to have people waiting to be unloaded you could either be waiting 5 hours or until the next day to get unloaded I have never been to a place that moved this slow I’m sure I will in the future but for now this place takes the award for being the slowest to get you unloaded so if you come here just be prepared to get ya wait on
