Glass Tint USA - West Springfield

Had the do ceramic tint on my new Tundra. Pleasantly surprised it does everything they said it would.
Keeps the heat down, reduces UV and looks great. Will definitely be back.

I just purchased a new 2021 F150 and wanted to get the windows tinted. I did a lot of research online and found that Llumar is what I wanted to go with. I found that Glass Tint USA in Springfield, MO had excellent reviews so I called and made an appointment. They were able to get me in the next week. I knew how I wanted the truck to look but wasn't sure what percent tint I needed to accomplish that. I explained to the guys at Glass Tint what I wanted and one guy said (sorry, I didn't get his name), "You want 50% on all windows including the windshield and 15% on the front side windows. That way they will all match. And probably 70% on the moonroofs. " I told him okay, that he has been doing this for 10 years so he should know. And he did! They did all the windows and moonroofs in about an hour and a half. The truck looks fantastic! I live 2 hours away and you can bet that the next vehicle we get will be going to Glass Tint. If you need window tinting done, PLEASE do yourself a favor and see these guys. Very professional and well-educated on their products and provide high quality workmanship. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

I have had at least 5 vehicles tinted here and they always do a fantastic job. I have never had one single issue with any of their work.

Ordered glass for to the top of my desk. It was as cut to the size I ordered and ready in a timely manner.

When I bought my truck the windows were already tinted, and they were so dark I had to roll them down at night to see if there were no street lights. Glass Tint USA was able to remove the old tint and put on a lighter tint. There are different levels of tint as well, so the better brands will block more heat and don't have to be darker. I took my wife's car in as well to get the windows tinted. The cars only took 30 minutes each. There is a walking trail right behind their business that you can walk while you wait.

I recently had the windows tinted on my Kia Telluride. The unique part of this story is that one of my windows (I believe it was the drivers door) cracked while installing tint. No fault on these guys as Tellurides are known to have this happen. The first replacement window came in broken, as did the second. I tell you all that to say that I was highly impressed with Glass Tint USAs professional. They contacted me every time there was an update which was multiple times. When it was complete they brought my vehicle to my home for a "payback. " You have a customer for life thank you.

Best in the 417. They have tinted all of my vehicles as well as my house and family's homes. They always do an awesome job; very detailed and accurate. Windows are tinted all the way to the edge, very professional install. The LLumar film is the best film out there too. Keeps my vehicles cool as well as my house, and the privacy is just as awesome! You get what you pay for!

So. My first experience with Glass Tint USA was very good in 2017. This year (late June 2020) when I bought my new car I took it in to get the same job done. 35 percent tint with the clear film on the windscreen. However, this time they 1.took off the rear defroster lines while taking off my ear windscreen ($1,704.56) 2. Burned my headliner ($2077.95), and 3.made a complete mess of the rear seats and shelf. Overall I know they can do a good job and of course people sometimes slip up but to me when you are paying a good amount of money these things should not happen and are not excusable. Another thing that should be noted is that they told me to see if my warranty could replace the rear glass or even suggested I deal with it and ignore it. There are two major issues with this, 1. It shows that when they do mess up they do not own up to their fault and 2. They do not have any backup plan incase they mess up. I understand that defroster lines come off but the glass that I got to replace the one that Glass Tint USA messed up also had tint on it that had to be removed and the shop that I went to did it with no issue at all. I even discussed with them my experience at Glass Tint USA and they stated that it is common for bigger named shops, such as Glass Tint USA, to hire workers who are not actually at the skill level as other professional shops and I for one happen to agree with this. Glass Tint USA also suggested that for the headliner they would pay to get it repaired. I will not be the first to tell you this but a repaired headliner is never the same as the original. You can even ask the best detailers out there and they will all say this too. Also keep in mind this car is a fairly new AMG that originally costs 55k, and I did not pay to get my windows tinted and get a repaired headliner in the process. Overall I believe that the job they did on my specific car was rushed and the quality of work at Glass Tint USA has gone down. I will say that the films that Glass Tint USA uses are better than some of the other shops who use generic tint but if you do some searching you can always find another shop in town that has the same brand/quality of tint. If you do plan to tint your car and want it done right the first time I would recommend giving a locally well reviewed detail shop a call and going based off their recommendations.

Been coming here for every vehicle I have owned since early 2000’s. They are the best. I live in KC now and will be bringing my new car here because no one can compete with their quality of work, prices, friendliness, and warranty program.
