Glitz Nails & Spa, Springfield MO

I went here once with a friend, and have never went to another nail salon after experiencing this place. Wing (one of the owners) is very friendly and treats his customers like good friends. I can’t recommend this place enough! Picture attached is some Christmas themed nails I got done here

Glitz Nails has done a fantastic job on my nails every time I have gone! They take their time and really make sure that the final product is at a high standard! I am always happy with the results and they do exactly what I want but even better! I highly recommend them! I feel like their prices are so fair compared to the amazing service that they provide!

Took my wife and mother here for a treat. They got a pedicure that included a foot scrub, massage chair, nail trim, and toe nail painting. They raved about how all evening they're legs and feet felt like new.

Been going here since the original owners ran the place. They were with me through 2 of my pregnancies! Once they left, it's all been down hill. They have their days where I'll walk in and everything's perfect. In fact I began to let the new people grow on me! I bonded with them as did my children. As a mom of 4, this is the only thing I do for myself! I work at an urgent care and I take care of a home filled with 6 total! I think I deserve a small break! Anyways I go in at 4pm today and fight both of my toddlers, my son and husband were wanting pedis basic, we sat and waited and waited. Nobody approached us to see what the boys wanted and than we were approached twohours later and told we would need to wait 20/30 mins even longer. I told the woman no, we will just go somewhere else. As we walked out, one of the people I became close friends with came running out telling me no, please, no.they have lost me as a client. After YEARS of going to them, I'm done. The new majority ignores what you say, they don't converse. It's just really sad. But I have a new home. And I'm thankful for them. It broke my heart to walk away, but I always always tip, I smile, I compliment I'm just a giving person and this has been coming for a while now. Goodbye to yall! It was a pleasure knowing yall!

I think your experience here will depend on who does your nails. I went with my mother in law, and we had different ladies. We were both getting gel polish manicures. Hers turned out beautiful and smooth. I originally asked for French tips. The lady never introduced herself and didn't speak, just forcefully moved my hands where they needed to be. The French tips looked AWFUL. Big blobs of polish for the white tips, and the white of my nails was still showing on several nails. I asked her to redo one, and it looked worse than originally, so I asked if we could just do a plain neutral polish instead. She redid them, but it was so sloppy. Bubbles in the polish, and so much polish pooled in the cuticles and creases where the nail meets the skin. She cut so much skin off that my hands were flecked with white when I left. A child could have done a neater job. I wish I'd taken a before and after-they looked so much worse when I left. We'd been there so long I didn't have it in me to try a third time. Not worth the $38. Will not be back. 3 stars instead of 1 because my MIL's nails turned out great, and the brief hand massage at the end was nice.

The service was very poor. When we walked in the guy told us it would be a couple minutes. We didn’t get scene for 3 hours. Very poor service.

They always work hard to get me in fast even with a walk in and the nails look amazing! Great quality and wonderful service

My nails have been beautiful but the first time I had 3 nails come off within the week and a half and went back and got them filled and replaced and it's been not even a week and I've already got one off again.

Got my nails done and in the first 3 days THREE of my nails have popped off and it is day #5 and my 4th nail has popped off and all I was doing was washing my face before bed. Never had this happen anywhere else. Been calling them for days now but keeps saying number is not working. Spent 200 on me and my 3 year old daughter and not at all satisfied. Also my nails are super curved downwards and I tried to explain to him my nails never did that anywhere else and he said it was my finger nail shape but anywhere I’ve ever went they never curved like that. I get my nails done regularly at another place but they were fully booked so went to glitz. Just not happy with my results and them popping off so quick especially because I paid SO MUCH. Have tried to call several times as well as messaging them on their page. No response.

Main complaint is I tried talking to my nail tech many times. And never bothered to acknowledge me

I got shellac polish and a looks great I had a stroke and my left hand does not open on its own, they worked with me and was able to paint my nails, they were very nice, I will definitely go back
